LIFE of a COMMUNITY MANAGER in VIDEO GAMES | Day 1: An Overview of My Typical Day at Work

Today I thought we would try something different by looking at a day in the life of a community manager working in video games. I wear a few hats, I eat a few snacks, and I get stuff done. This was a bit too brief of a snapshot but the clips at the end really helped bring it home. I like what you've done with The Game Show as there has always been a focus on what goes into making a game as much as what goes into playing them. Would love to see more or more of a highlight of the different roles that go into making the games.

Seems pretty cool. So you're voice acting as well, is that correct? Didn't realise community managers would get to playtest as well, but it makes sense. What would be the basis required to become a videogame community manager? What are people generally looking for in an applicant?

Yes, playtesting is part of my job as community manager. We have a small company so everyone at the company is assigned to test it.
