I love that you just keep trying things in a space to see what works. That is this years garden for me. I have my brocolli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, all in raised beds this year and they are SO happy. Hoping to see a real head and not just a bolting sprig this year for the broccoli and cauliflower. Last year my brussels were so small they just couldn't complete the process before it got cold, so I mixed up the planting dates for all of it and I will just keep moving it around until it works. :)

@@TheRipeTomatoFarms Jeff the broccoli plants are huge and forming the first signs of head sprouts. I mixed a few different organic slow release fertilizers together to get the cocktail I thought was right, and it seems to be working. The cauliflower plants are also big. Brussels are growing slower but still look good. I am very hopeful.

Carrots n peas! But I go for it all 😂 some years good, some, not so good! Potatoes seem to jive here as well. Our season is so short, you gotta go to heroic measures to get things to fruit. Gardening here is always maybe going to go right, but we all love the journey each year. Im enjoying your library… thx again!

Jeff,you’re wise beyond your age. Raised beds also make life easier for elderly gardeners like myself. Try picking bush beans from ground level and you’ll know. Many more birthdays I hope you enjoy.
