Gud evening... I have a problem with our sirona xray machine. Our machine can take a panoramic radiography but i can't change the program to other transaction. The machine hang and restart and back to panoramic(P1). What should be the possible problem of our machine?

I think you should report it to the biomed or the company of the machine. It is very important to communicate them when it comes to x-ray machines.

Hello po ask ko lng po if recommended nyo parin po ang pagraradtech, hs palng po ako and nalaman kopong we might run out of helium (25 to 30 years) po which is essential for these types of machines to function po.

Hello! May I ask if how many working hours a day obligated po and RADTECHs?

Common is 8 hrs. But some hospital they required 16hrs pero 3-4 days naman yung off. Depende kung covid, overtimes are mandatory.

Pag po ma-assign sa MRI/CT, need din po ba mag take additional course especially MRI?

I'm not sure with the associate? 1st time ko marinig yan. Kasi BSRT din ako. Halos mga licensed RT dito sa pinas ay BSRT ang kinukuha.

Associate in Radiologic Technology is a 3-yr-course (2yrs in academic and 1 year internship). Ang kaibahan po nila is sa bs, may radsci, sa associate, wala. Ladderized po yun, so after assoc, pwede mo ideretso ng bs. Ganyan ginawa nung iba inc. me. Yung exam ng assoc is xtle, and bs yung rtle kaya may title na RXT, RRT. Kaya yung iba dala-dalawa din yung lisensya.

Be open-minded, especially to your senior techs. Every tech has its own opinions and teachings. Learn from them. It is also your chance to practice initiative and critical thinking kasi buhay na and hinahandle nyo.

hindi naman po, may kaklase po ako 4'9 ang height 😅 it's not that important kung kaya mo naman and my ways naman para maiayos mo yung tube or what, its just that may edge po mga matangkad kasi easy lang sakanila itaas and abutin yung mga dapat, but you can use something naman po para mas mapadali yung work mo hehe 😊

It's normal kung kinabahan ka. Advice ko lang, enjoy internship. You will learn many things during internship, and dyan mo rin malalaman sa huli kung saang modalities ang bet mo. Try to practice critical thinking during internship kasi madala mo yan kung mag work kana. Lastly, when it's time to have fun, mag walwal ka. When it's time to study, you study. Magaling mga radtechs sa diskarte. :)
