As an art form, Ballet is defined by its blend of physicality, grace and fluidity but the royal ballet in Covent Garden premiered the life of one of the famous talented to be challenged by disability.
English cellist, Jacqueline Du Pre shot to classical world fame in the 1960s but multiple sclerosis cut her talent and her life cruelly short.
The ballet has been dreamt up and directed by a choreographer whose own mother has MS.
