Count how many people gets interview call through CP and count how many people achieve good rating in CP. Its comparatively difficult. Its better to have a good profile in development too and then put efforts in CP. The other way round is a riskier.

Everything is good. Depends how you love your work. But it's not necessary to do CP. Because if you ask questions CP is necessary: ans big NO and small yes. Also I know many people they don't know DSA good. But their projects, their development experience give them international job offer that pays higher then google as freshers even they know DSA very little.
