I used to say divorce isn’t an option but that kept me trapped in a terribly toxic marriage for years. There is life after divorce, a better life at that
@minfires7572 Жыл бұрын
thank you!! I'm a christian and more often then not I see married couples in the church who have cheated on each other etc. and don't get divoreced just because in the bible its "forbidden". I think believing divorce isn't an option is just a very old fashioned way of thinking.
@AnnSalas Жыл бұрын
I have friends who’s in their 30s, have gotten divorced after a toxic relationship, they’re now at their happiest. This is the reason why I keep saying “life’s season” maybe you’re meant to be married but only for a season, and maybe you’re meant to live a life that’s just you, or maybe you meet another soulmate. But know that life ‘s season will always be different, it does not have to be just one thing. And you can be happy in all of those seasons, a different kind of happy.

@@AnnSalasYes! I totally agree with the seasonal outlook. Living unhappily married can be absolutely soul crushing and I did it for 7 years (not a good season for sure). 4 years later I’m thriving so much more now at 36 than I ever did in my 20s!

@@minfires7572 If I may, in the Bible actually it mentions that separation (in other words "divorce") can happen and be permitted with reasonable reasons, with cases such as "violence/abuse", immorality, etc. God encourage to mantain the family united, and so trivial reasons shouldn't be a cause for separation. Though he permits one to decide if one's partner have to be forgiven or not if there's a cause..

I was looking for your videos cus i needed a boost up now that I've finished college and have NO IDEA WHAT TO DO. I mean, I have some plans in the long run, but I feel like this is my first break since 2019 and I don't know whether to start relaxing, wroking on personal projects, applying for jobs, taking a vacation, or just sleeping in for a week. I've been waking up for the last couple of days feeling really weird. Like a sort of anxiousness for having no things to do. But anyway, looking for a boost up from your old videos, I realized youtube hasn't been recommening to me any of your latest videos for months! I'm super sad about that cus I love your content.

She's an ENFP ;) It's not uncommon to see ENFPs mistype as INFJs tho. ENFPs do have that INFJ unconscious dual shadow side...so INFJs and ENFPs do have shared traits of each other because of that dual shadow aspect. In short, they are the inside out versions of each other, hence the understandable confusion. Meaning for example, despite their carefree initial impression in private ENFPs can let out more of their serious emo INFJ side in private; and INFJs despite their serious reserved demeanor upon initial impression are often more playful & hilarious than they initially appear as they let out their goofy ENFP side more in private.

Suze Orman used to say that if people make different salaries, they should contribute the same % to expenses. For example if one person makes $1000 a month, and the other makes $5000 a month, they both should contribute 20% to the rent. So one person would contribute $200 and the other one $1000. Then the couple would live in a $1200 apartment. not NYC.obviously😉
