Hey there, thanks for your question: Although there are indeed 12 bass presets in the pack, I thought they were not the most interesting thing to showcase when playing solo. The full audio demo utilizes three of these sounds throughout the different parts, though. I hope this helps!

For some reason the bass is very f**k up. I can but two notes behind and I don't get a sound out of it any more

That's prob because you're reaching max polyphony: Trying shortening slightly Env 1 release time, or maybe shorten your midi notes abit. That should allow all the notes to play. I hope this helps !
