But I agree that the west and Russia should stop trying to force their own cultural norms or political system upon them. It doesn't work. Let Afghanistan be Afghanistan. Though this is some of the nicest footage of Afghanistan you can get, Kabul is where all the wealth and trade goes, these are the "rich"/better off people, and we also get cut/edited content, maybe there's Taliban supervising but we just don't get to see them. At least it does seem like Afghanistan found some relative stability though and that's good, I always found it the most interesting country in the region and honestly the nature there is quite beautiful too. And Afghanistan isn't really destroyed because although they had some skirmishes between ISIS and Taliban. The whole ISIS "war" generally took place in Iraq and Syria, their cities got absolutely destroyed/besieged by ISIS and later on recaptured with bloody battle too. Both the Soviet invasion and the USA didn't really wage sieges in Afghanistan either, they fought jihadists in the valleys and mountains (for the most part) And is pretty long time ago already.
