As an earlier commentor said I would like you to compare the 18sound 6.5" to others. There are a lot of 18sound 6.5" clones that i would like to hear compared to the original. I had both of these 8" speakers you tested and the results from my tests were the same. In my tests the B&C started distorting and the 18 sound kept getting louder. Good work Mike. Keep the tests going.

18 SOUND is louder due to Nomex coil former. B&C uses glass fibre coil former. I`d go for 18SOUND

Both of those drivers are designed for pro audio PA cabs. They are far more efficient than driver made for car audio.

Nice video... 8M400F 250 RMS, 200-9000HZ 100.5-DB. Aluminium voice coil = great sound not as durable . 8PE21 200RMS 90-5000HZ 98.0 DB. Copper voice coil =very durable . B&C bought Eighteen Sound for a good reason... excellent product but very old technology.

I have running this 18sound 8s and 10s long time to compete... I'm from St. Lucia where we hold the loudest isasca caribbean record... put this 8 against the American bass sq8b. Same loudness but the American bass sound quality would make this sound cheap ... and the American bass is under $100

And live in New York, I run ev Speakers all day baby... the original.... 4 15 sundown zv5 and 6 10inch evs and 4 8 inch beymas 15 on 2 12k soundigital evox and 10s on sounddigital 3k and 8s on 3k soundigital... 8 pioneer pro tweeters on a 320 amp Alternator with 3 xs 3100 and 3 xs titan 8 lithium batteries ... and trust me I blow dudes out like wow

They both sound pretty good. I wonder how the same models but 6.5" sound. They both got good bass. The B&C sounds clear. --damn. I checked the price for B&C today, $112.00, out of stock. I guess people are buying them up. Are they worth the $224/pair? Listening again today, since I blew out my Morels. Not doing that again. I need something that can handle some real power, and prefer 2 Ohm. Anyone know anything 2 Ohm that is good? Also, some magnets are bigger because they can't produce or do not pay for the more powerful magnets. It just cost effective to use cheaper Chinese ferrite mags. so, size is not always a good comparison.

Brother you have to be careful with these tests, since you can become deaf, for so many DB, these tests are better to do them at a minimum distance of 5 meters from each speaker, so that they do not affect your ears. Thanks a lot .
