What steps were they dancing at 7:58 in the background? 💃 Is it a kind of folk dance?

@@TracyHuang211 Taiwanese aunties and uncles enjoy doing yoga, Tai Chi in parks, in the video it's like some kind of dance or just healthy exercise, we believe doing these is a good way to make friends and keep our bodies healthy.

Thanks for bringing back the sweet memories about the traditional Taiwanese breakfast. Before I went to college, we always had home made breakfast at home. Everyday my mom had to wake up very early to cook the plain porridge. Only rice and water, no seasoning.. sometimes mom would put some sliced sweet potatoes to cook the porridge. Then had it with pork or fish floss, fried peanut and pickled vegetables. Even it was so simple, my mom had to make it in early morning. Otherwise it was no time to cool down, we would be late for school. Not easy to eat the hot porridge in a short time. Every Taiwanese family has their own breakfast. Very variety. I think.you could find at least over 50 foods that Taiwanese has in breakfast. Nice video~
10:01, you got it, that is the trick of Taiwanese style onigiri, the rice 1. uses sticky rice, 2. steam by timber made rice cooker! both made the rice unbeatable. Everything else(ie crispy oil stick) are secondary :)
Just stumbled on your channel from a comment you made on davie504, but good to see Prozzie again, used to watch Laowhy and serpentza a lot a few years ago.
8:36 Salmon is " 鮭魚 " in Taiwan, Taiwan followed Japanese in which Japanese word for salmon is also 鮭 , "三文魚 " is Cantonese way of calling salmon
@amychen49223 жыл бұрын
Aren't you aware that it's also called "三文魚" in Taiwanese? Just saying.
@kaslofchen2573 жыл бұрын
@@amychen4922 it's a loanword for Taiwanese people, basically everyone calls it 鮭魚 this topic reminds me of 鮭魚之亂 hahaha

You got me craving breakfast at 1:30am! #1 was my favorite for sure. Never had it for breakfast but there's one nearby I've been to for lunch a few times. Incredibly busy at all hours, for good reason. Onigiri in Japan hits different though.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day in Taiwan. Niu Ro Hamboa is something that I could eat every day. There is a great place just outside TungHai University near the DongHai Daxue night market.

Thank you for sharing, this was very interesting! May I ask: the food seems lovely and tasty but it is quite different from what we eat in the west... Did you have problems adjusting to the different diet at the beginning? Thank you, and my apologies for my horrible English!

When eating porridge, we usually order with some fried food, such as fried pork belly, fried tofu, fried oysters and fried squid. You can easily find good 小吃店 at Datong District or Wanhua District in Taipei city🥳
In NYC Chinatown, zhou is translated into English as congee. I thought congee was a Chinese word but now I wonder if it's pidgen for "congeal"? Maybe congee is from a dialect?
