I used to volunteer all the time as a private. After awhile, they stopped letting me volunteer or put me in charge of the voluntolds. After a bit of watching me in charge, they promoted me. It pays to volunteer!

@life is a special operation: are you shrek?? Also it’s not the pain or fatigue that stops me from signing the papers. It’s the damn fear of jumping out of a plane. I’m not a heights guy, can this fear be conquered? What is your advice on anything that may help someone overcome their fear of heights ?

I'm scared of heights and I'm airborne qualified. It sounds harsh but don't be a pussy and just jump. It's that easy. You don't really realize how high you are and you don't really see the ground until you're out of the door already.
