A very well done "minimal" version for display purposes... Has enough animatronics to look really good without being a VERY expensive piece of equipment to have on display with such open access... I love where they showed the more complex variant that has more functionality. Reminds me of an animatronic project or two I did several years ago for someone using a ventriloquist dummy. Nice work!

I’ve got a story for you regarding the prequels: So my dad was the manager of the local JCPenny’s and JCPenny’s partnered with Lucasfilm to promote the Prequels (or at least Episode I). One of the ways that they promoted Episode I was to put a life-size statue of Anakin Skywalker, in his podracing outfit, in various JCPenny stores, one of which was the one my dad was the manager of. After the promotional period ended, he was most likely told to just throw it away, but growing up with the Original Trilogy and knowing how popular they were with his generation, he decided not to throw it away and instead brought it home. The statue then spent several years in our garage until my mom became a paraprofessional at a local school, which resulted in Anakin going on display in the school’s library. When she became a teacher at another school, Anakin went with her to that school’s library, who’s librarian just so happens to be a huge Star Wars fan, so Anakin has now found a new home.

I remember when a department store that sold electronics and games was going out of business (I think it was a Virgin megastore or a CompUSA). They had a window display of a lifesized Veteran Ranger of the New California Republic from _Fallout: New Vegas._ I asked what was going to happen to it. All the other mannequins were going to a liquidation company. But half the employees were major gamers and they were competing to bring the Ranger home.

Don't worry. I haven't been 9 for a very long time now, and I still want to pick him up and give him cuddles like he's real. I see the behind the scenes videos where someone is moving his head and an another person is moving his arms, and I still believe he is real. Very cool but I've heard too many complaints about EFX not delivering their products. It's probably super expensive and you probably have to preorder it and given that too many companies that make stuff like this can't seem to get their preorders out on time or delivered at all, seems like it'll probably be a risky purchase. Plus what if this malfunctions? Who's going to fix it? You know it has a ton of moving parts and sensitive electronics that will break down after a while.

hopefully it's just a prototype you need to have Baby Yoda turn his head Look directly at you (EYE CONTACT!) for that much needed immersion, plus the sound bite is on a continuous loop and is wayy too short. too much grunting noises. don't mean to be picky but if we are expected to pay up an arm and leg for this little guy. the Immersion should be a better user experience. not spend the money get excited for like what 24 hrs and just get bored with it after lol.
