He was such a nice person and a great man. Never heard a single nasty thing said about him in the media. None of the Mythbuster’s for that matter. But it’s just another example of how much we need to really treasure our lives and our friends, anyone of us can be gone any minute or day. RIP A neighbor of mine lost his wife a month or so ago, just tragic, she was only 28. I don’t know what happened, I didn’t ask him it’s not my business, he could tell me himself if he wanted to. I just told him how sad and sorry I was and I and we my other cool neighbors had his back and not to hesitate to ask for help. She was a sweet, beautiful and kind young lady, such a shame.

Him and the entire crew inspired an entire generation of engineers and helped bring the world of robotics to more young people, the reason there's so much interest in that kind of stuff with young people now is largely because of him helping bring it out of the shadows of something only for the nerds. To hear that one of the most loved people in the series passed away, was a tragic loss for us as well. The ‘calculator guy’ whom some of us nicknamed Grant, when Grant joined Myth Busters, due to the scientific calculator Grant used, was a pleasant surprise as some of us have and have used a scientific calculator as some time in the past.
