Couldn't agree more with your conclusion. I've had my 1999 vfr800 for 9 years now. Tried loads of other bikes and they're different but not in any way better imo. Btw; those mirrors are from the 2002 onwards

you asked about 2015 model its great to ride very smooth better than the model before a lot smaller and the v tec is a lot smoother as well brakes are better love my viffers just so perfect had lots of bikes but the honda vfr always wins me over.

No rear grab bars on the back? Did you not get them with the bike originally?

Andrew English I still have them, but took them off awhile ago. My wife never needed/used them and they’re pretty heavy. I had the rear portion of the seat reupholstered with a non-slip material, so she could probably ride with no hands and still be locked in place pretty well.

They can be tucked in under the seat when not needed. Bit of a hassle two bolts need to be unfastened and refastened. This broke has several trick features that are amazingly cool.

The mirrors are not the series 5 (1998-2001). I had those ‘condom’ mirrors on my ‘99 VFR, they were useless. The type you have are the best. That’s why Honda went back to them.

They’re 5th gen, but specifically ‘00-‘01 is when they were this style!

I love my red on white 91, but my 05 is so much easier. The 91 need some work and my newer one is perfect :-)

@@LifeOfBurch I really only like it better because it has 15, 000 miles and is in near-perfect condition. So comfortable and fun to ride at the same time. I have owned the 91 for a very long time. Bought in 95 with 4000 miles. I've put over 50,000 on it. And it needs a bunch of stuff that I have neglected because I have the 05 :-) but that 91 is my favorite bike ever. I've owned a vf500f Interceptor, a 600 CBR and a pair of 900 RRs along with a GSXR and an R1. So saying that the 91 VFR is my favorite is pretty incredible :-)

Amazing bike, i habe the red power ranger from 1992, amazing! just put on it dominos grips and a dominator high mount long round with the devil exhaust header. So good to ride. For sure i need to try the 180/55 tyres

Magnes1um Ahh I’m jealous that you have a header for yours! They sound so good with full exhaust. I definitely recommend trying the beefier rear tire! Thanks for watching!
