Well obviously you building your catamaran nearly single handed with supervision from Johnny is impressive piece of hard work. However what is much more impressive is that in the out of the way places which will rarely be seen and when the light is showing at the end of the tunnel you are not rushing taking short cuts or saying well that is good enough. Instead you are putting in the extra time and effort sometimes a considerable amount to get everything 100% perfect rather than saying sod it and going with "Close enough for government work" . This is a testament to your work ethic and no doubt why your Kayak business did well.

It takes it's toll though Glenn,I could certainly take some short cuts but not sure I could live with that .Thanks for the great comment, made my day.Rossco.

Watching your dog charge off up the beach reminds me of the time I went camping at Pt Macdonnell near the SA Vic border. After spending the night sharing with a 6 month old Afghan puppy in a 2 man tent with a wild storm howling through the dunes we took him for a run along the beach at dawn. This is where he discovered seagulls and chased them into the water until he was chest deep and the frigid surf swamped him. Seagulls were now off the playlist as he sped off looking for other sport. By the time we caught up he had discovered the bait bucket and fish already hauled in by the guy out in the surf casting for more Salmon. It cost me $50 not to have the dog filleted. Cheers Eric

I have to say we/I have watched to wrestle that heavy ass Bathroom module at least plus 20 times, and who knows how many times you didn’t show us. Rosco Your patience is Legandary I would have lost it and probally would have needed counseling over that damn Bathroom! But I can’t wait to see it all come together been here before you started this epic project. I stumbled onto your channel when you were showing a completed but unfinished catamaran for sale! Anyways I can’t wait to see this 5kiloton cat do twenty plus knots.

Yes Russ living on a boat I can say storage especially lots of small cupboard spaces help a lot. Big open spaces are a pain ! On my cat I have 2 x 50mm conduits running both sides of the Chinese and I have 3 x 50mm conduits running from side to side over the bridge deck and 2 running down the centre of the bridgedeck. As I have added things along the road they are a godsend. You needs lots of access for future projects as you go...

It's all looking good Ross. You need to fab up a crane system Ross the time and headaches that you would avoid would be worth all the grief it take to conjure something! up! That might work for you, at least consider it , may take one day to fab something up! at the most. unless you just have only a couple modules to mess with but it looks like it would be worth the headache. " She's an idiot, She's gone." LOL Dog's can be hilarious and sometimes not the brightest creators that's for sure. We have two, ones smart the other is a dumb as a stick. My brother had a dog once and he named it " Stupid." He'd jump in his truck for fun and get the dog to chase him. He'd be yelling out of the trucks window, common stupid, common stupid and that dog would chase the truck for days. LOL

Since its almost summer time, I would suggest getting a portable AC such as a Midea 10,300 BTU (13,500 BTU ASHRAE) 115V Smart Portable Air Conditioner, I used that as an example to give you an idea. As long as you exhaust the heat outside your tent it should keep the small areas you work in cooler. The downside is it can be too loud for recording and a bit awkward to move from one compartment to another. I would have suggested maybe using a swamp cooler but if your climate is humid it would do you no good. Plus the fact it would add moisture to the air and Im sure that wouldnt be good for fiber glassing. Im not an expert by any means.

Great work as always Ross ! Will the stair treads have a lift out panel to access that open area below and also so you can reinforce it to fight the squeaks I've heard on almost all commercial cats I've ever visited ? You could also make those treads/panels from rib reinforced wood with a non skid finish routed into upper surfaces and have them drop in place onto a lip surrounding the area which would also stiffen it considerably... More spaces for essential odds and ends like beer !

Rossco having watched plenty of your video's and knowing that the overall weight is extremely important. Do you have inmind a overall weight for your catamaran that your aiming for and how much will it differ from a production line catamaran build 🤔. As always brother 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.

Great work, great quality laminating. Don't you do the cut outs with rounded corners? As the internal modules are part of the boats strength, I'd be afraid of cracks in the corners. Especially on a catamaran.

Just out of curiousity, the video makes the shelf (minute 9) look like it is not level in the back left corner. I am hoping it is just the way the video makes it look. Your attention to detail causes me to believe that is just the angle of the video (I hope so anyway) and not an oversite by you.
