think I was advised that when he made that stop at around the 12:17 mark, he advised the passengers that he had to wait there for around 5 or so, and that was because they try to arrive at all the stops within a certain time, no earlier or later, right????

I drive a bus in Canada and our fare evasion is really bad. I've watched about 3 of your videos and not once did someone ask for a free ride. Do you guys in London have to deal with that at all.
@Lifereportage7 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Jackson yes we do, but many drivers choose not to bother in order to have a better life. Occasionally you get pulled in by the garage manager for not checking, but if you do check, you get in trouble on a daily basis, which means stop the bus and call the police and then you get pulled in anyway. The authorities want the busses to keep rolling, but they will blame it on the drivers if they're not collecting fares. It's very unfair world.

gussing that at that one stop where he said he had the hold the bus there for about 5 or so was because he is required to be at each stop at a certain time, no earlier or later and the next stop after the one where he held the bus he was going to be early for, is that about right?
@terry1411864 жыл бұрын
Correct running early is an absolute no no. There's hundreds of reasons for being late absolutely zero for running early. They are strict with it where I drive too.
@pizzasubs3 жыл бұрын
@@terry141186 Totally understand what you are talking about, Dont know if they have them there but for our bus service, at every one of the bus stops they have a placard saying the times that the bus is supposed to be there at the bus stop, and like you said, the goal for our bus service is to be there at the stops right at the times that are listed on the placards or whatever they are called, no later and hopefully no earlier.....

@dsugamer54156 жыл бұрын
Andrew Silva bus might’ve been early.
@Lifereportage6 жыл бұрын
Buses run on a timetable and if a bus is running early, it must wait in order to leave an equal space between the bus in front and the bus begins, so that people don’t wait forever at bus stops. For example, let’s say that a particular bus runs every 15 minutes. The bus of 8:00 is on time, the bus of 8:30 is also on time, but the bus of 8:15 is running 10 minutes early, which means that it shows up at 8:05. At this point between 8:05 and 8:30 there are no buses. The situation gets even worse if the bus of 8:30 runs late, which happens more often than not due to traffic. For this reason buses that run more than 2.5 minutes early are heavily penalised by TfL (Transport for London) with a fine of £100 per minute. Hope this helps:-)

No idea what a blinker is, you will get information as to what your vehicle is doing. Lights, full beam, air pressure for every tank, fog lights, signal switch, hazard switch. Modern ones may display voltage and also display vehicle height if the bus needs to be lowered.

@theexperiencer66045 жыл бұрын
All school buses are manual when driven by school bus drivers. Depending on what country you're driving a public bus in, it will either be manual or automatic. They would make it automatic so that the driver can focus on the road or manual to put more stress on the driver :/.
