Holding a Diploma in IT I started doing graphic designer as a side hustle without the experience I thought myself through Canva ang Google illustration now I'm into digital marketing where I will be specializing with SEO. My advice is don't sleep on internet equip yourself God will open doors for you , lastly I'm doing marketing for small business for the exposures. Hi whitney I first got introduced to international SEO in my 3rd job where I had to optimise different pages to rank for specific terms in different countries and different currencies. After that I was interviewed by a german company who did SEO in different languages, I got to the 3rd interview of that job but I did not get it, the next job after that I got a job on a website which was multilingual and they used a wordpress plugin called wpml to make their site multilingual and they used freelance translators off platforms like upwork to to the translations. To optmise in other languages is the same as english you just have to use ahrefs/semrush in that geo and see what people search for and optimise in their language. The next job after that I had to build a multilingual site from scratch and I grew it to making over 4m a month within 8 months, I was initially giving a R1m budget and hired a small team. I first used translators on upwork, I would have the site written in english then get translators in different languages that showed search volume. Then I learned I could rank without using translators first that I could use auto translators like google translate and integrate them with multilingual site plugins to rank then later one I could hire a translator to go over the best performing pages.
