I have definitely seen the sense urgency/limited supply tactic from most people selling coaching programs. I personally will never again buy anything being sold like that especially when they load more upsells on to it. I’ve been burned multiple times buying this way. I intentionally ignore products or services that apply the sense of urgency tactics. Though I have been told by a friend who works in marketing that I’m considered “an unusual buyer” because I’m turned off a buy by most selling tactics. 😂 I totally agree that the emotional appeal works the best.

I’m the same. The funnel strategies are everywhere and some people have courses when they really shouldn’t. It’s annoying
@annahammitt9 күн бұрын
I never buy if someone later upsells or makes it feel like if I want this deal I have to do it now. I’m skeptical of why aren’t you going to let me take time to think? I know some timeshares that do this. I’ve always wondered how many others also never buy from this technique vs who are ok with it.

I don't know how I stumbled onto this page but alot of this advice is really effective if you are able to execute it smoothly as it uses alot of different proven systems from neurolinguistic programming to body language, persuasion, influence and charisma techniques, behavior profiling, and even some human hacking or maybe a softer term, social engineering. I even recognized some of the old school classic PUA techniques when he mentioned "negging". The main technique that's featured which was "storytelling" that was new for me. I wonder how many people in sales do this already and if the stories they tell are true or completely made up. In statement analysis, they say it's difficult to come up with a made up story out of thin air, from nothing, so I imagine they are probably using little stories that they embellished here, edited there and then use that. You see alot of religious people do this too, they have a story to tell, sometimes an unbelievable one, and then they get to the sales later. Anyway, pretty cool to happen upon this channel. Fascinating stuff!

Wow nice People buy 'emotionally' not 'logically' This really hit me I have been giving so much value in my channel and recently launched an ebook which i put in so much value based on my experience and growth but i have not been getting the level of sales I wanted because i thought people would logically wanna buy However, seeing this makes me realise that sales is literally people and most people would need a bit of psychological approach to get them do what they should. Thanks for this

This is incredibly vague advice. You think im gonna tell my life story to someone im trying to sell a car to ???
@Diamondrenae9720 күн бұрын
We’ll see that’s the thing you would use the story telling when needed . Not to sale a car . But more sooo like makeup products .. hair … products weight lost products . A sob story with a car can go to though . Talk about how great the car there looking into is so much better than another one you’ve had and how you aspire to get the one they are purchasing .

Not your life story but for example, I sell pet supplies.. I would never lie or push a person to buy a product that they don't need (I have morals) but if their pet has an issue, I will explain if I had a similar circumstance with one of my animals and which products helped.

When people are telling me a story when im going shopping i get annoyed and become leas inclined to buy something from them. Another reason I dislike all these companies telling me there life stories instead of giving me something i actually need or want. I don't buy hipster bullshit.
