The first significant investigation into the genomics of Aboriginal Australians has uncovered several major findings about early human populations. These include evidence of a single “Out of Africa” migration event, and of a previously unidentified, “ghost-like” population spread which provided a basis for the modern Aboriginal cultural landscape.” - university of Cambridge. It has a ton to do with a lack of integrity in the field. Many are more concerned with their research being disproven and their contributions being meaningless. So they do all they can to discredit discoveries. It's so bad that through money and shady practices, they manage to preserve their clearly wrong research and theories and discredit honest researchers to the point it can end their careers. It's not just when it comes to Central and South American discoveries. It's archeological research in general.

@@thatdude3977 why do you think native Americans have those features and talk about a sky people? All myths have the same origin. Thoth is known by different names in different cultures all over the world. The only difference is which followers he took with him to which part of the world, as the Annunaki were from different planets and that’s why we have different races and languages. It certainly didn’t happen in the short amount of time since the flood supposedly happened in about 2400 BCE. If only Noah and his family were left, where did all these different races and languages all over the world come from in such a short period of time? The mythical story of the Tower of Babel was concocted to explain the difference in languages, but it does nothing to explain the differences in races.

It is not just science that MUST relent, religion should too. Sadly not one person has found the strength to challenge Western Christianity though they should. Its evolution alone begs to be thoroughly questioned. Instead the world just allows the Catholic religion to dominate. Not one person stops to think that, Gee they conquered judisam took the book and altered it to suit their designs. But do people ever stop to think of all the beliefs like "The Cathars" that were murdered to silence them. Instead people simply say, "Oh it's the Bible. No need to question it." What I find very disturbing is that descriptions left in stone do not reflect anything as to what is written in that book. One exception is the Enuma Elish which I greatly question it's translation because of the similarities to the book of Genesis. Just a thought....and challenge.

The Pacific Northwest of the USA was lit up like a Christmas tree a little less than 13,000 years ago. As a young man it was obvious to me that the Volcanic activity in the area surrounding the largest and most noteworthy Cascade Mountains most recently happened all around the same time. Just less than 13,000 years ago. I was there, ya know. May 18, 1980. Right there, just SE of St. Helens. Felt the earth shake and keep on shaking. Not like an earthquake. More lift, sort of a rumble. Day break turned back to darkness just as quickly. Police Officers handing out masks and air filters for vehicles. They probably saved our lives with those damn things. I remember laughing as we finally began to reach people who weren't fleeing. It took us days of driving before that happened. First East, then hard South. Navigating our way across the swollen Columbia. The Mountain gave no quarter to State Lines. As we began to giggle about the days of missed school !

No you didn't, you're just being difficult. Trying to start an argument. Pitting people against each other. Creating mayhem in an otherwise peaceful complaint. There's no room for this kind of behavior in this global society. Stop it.

I would like to know how they figure everything out since we can’t tell what the other people do today. Unless we see for ourselves or it’s documentation I understand investigation is given information on what was done and by what they found but the rest you can’t say anything about like you know what happened in detail when no one will ever know as far as we can tell it was a tourist attraction for 10 000 years

Why not show ONLY Olmec sites? Cutting regularly to El Castillo, the well-preserved, iconic pyramid at Chichen Itza, is not exactly reassuring. I know the Olmec megastructures were made of soil, not stone, but that's because there was not much rock in Olmec country in the south of the state of Veracruz and in Tabasco. Exception --- the volcanic stone in the area of Santiago Tuxtla. Don't talk about the Olmeca being a distinct civilization and show Maya-Toltec ruins from 2000 years later. You undermine your narrative by embellishing it unnecessarily. The gigantic heads and the artifacts at La Venta are more than adequate to prove your point,. It would also be good to document the heads and other artifacts at the Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City and the almost-as-superb museum in Jalapa, Veracruz. I believe I've seen 17 of the heads, all that have been found so far except for the two or four now in museums in NYC and London. I've also seen machine-tooled modern copies of the heads, and the latter are pale imitations of the originals. The Olmeca were extraordinary artists. And yes, they appear to be the ancestral culture to the Maya, though there remains the questions of the noses, which are totally different. The Olmec ones do lock quite African. Maya noses are aquiline, Olmec ones flat. Some have suggested the heads represent some amalgamation of human and jaguar features. The Olmec believed that humans were created when a jaguar mated with the Earth. The latter noses remind me of the Afronesian ones -- and genes -- found in Amazonian populations, which I believe you have discussed in other videos. Overall -- excellent. People need to know and learn a lot more about ancient MesoAmerican cultures.

I don't think so. The Hopi Indians (Arizona) have an oral tradition that their ancestors came from the east. And also, my yoga guru said that the Mayan civilization was a transplanted civilization that came to Central America from South India. And then we have the Olmecs who look like they were from Africa or Polynesia.
