Love that AFN front bumper - some great innovation with the DRLs and the TSS mounting plate for those of us with 2020+ 4Runners! Great styling too! No point in looking at a low-pro bumper for me anymore!

I've been getting a lot more interior dust in the 4Runner lately and was trying to track down the issue. Turns out it is that same badly designed vent. Got my Four Cam replacements on the way as well as redoing the rear splash guards. Timely! Thanks, Kevin.

Kevin this mod looks sexier than ever on Silver. I love the look and everything. I wish I am able to do the same thing to my rig right now. Bravo to you on choosing such a great set of bumpers, control arms, and axles! Those bumpers look awesome! I'm still mixed on adding a full-width steel bumper to my 3rd gen Taco. The chance of a deer (or bigger) hit is likely where I live, but all that extra weight in steel vs aluminum affected the handling. Plus it being an ARB it stuck further out on an already ridiculously extended "nose" they put on the 3rd gens.

Those bumpers are perfection! Especially that rear bumper. I appreciate the craftsmanship of the SSO, but what a monstrosity that thing was. This new one looks way cleaner, and I'm sure it's way lighter as well. One visual mod I would make though, would be a paint the pieces of the front bumper that are directly under the headlights silver, to match the rest of the grill surround. That's just my OCD though. Either that, or paint the rest of the grill surround black.

This may not have helped but when I change diff fluid I always get everything ready (skids off, area cleared) and then drive up and down the highway in 4wd for 10-15 minutes (disengaging around turns of course). I pull back in over the pan and immediately jump out of the truck and start wrenching on those plugs. The gear heat warms the case up and seems to let the plug out a little easier. Sometimes. Half the time it works every time.

If I remember correctly, I seem to recall that a few years ago you decided against installing a Magnuson Supercharger in your 5th gen 4Runner, weren’t entirely sold on it, as to the pros vs cons, and felt that the upgraded 4.88 gearing would give you enough power, and acceleration on the highway, including while towing a trailer. Has that turned out to be the case; do you still feel that way and are satisfied with your current setup, sans supercharger?
