The reason we chose black for the shade is because other color materials show mold quickly and profusely. The trade off of the black shade (the heat is attracted, however, it’s way up high so it keeps the heat from transferring into the house) is that it won’t be speckled with black mold dots and look dingy and nasty! 😆

I've followed your adventures for awhile now and knowing you were currently in the Maldives I kept an eye out for your vessel after returning to Male from 10 days at sea, diving some Central and Southern atolls, in the hope you were still in the vicinity. Last Tuesday as we entered harbour our liveaboard was overtaken by a dinghy with a central console similar to yours, piloted by a lady with several youngsters aboard as we waved at each other, as I squinted in the bright sunlight, before borrowing our captain's binoculars to ascertain that the vessel the dinghy tied up to was indeed the "Zatara". Love your videos and intend to keep watching. Happy sailing from me now back in the chilly UK!

I loved the many kinds of Morays when I was over there, my favourite was the Ghost Moray. They have evolved the front of their head to look like a dead fish that is stuck in the coral, when a fish comes along to eat the ''dead' fish it gets a nasty surprise! Stay safe guys, have fun! Fair winds xx
