Took 10 hours in total with the wife helping. Did this after the kids went to sleep in the dark with my phone flashlight so could definitely be quicker. Overall turned out great, expensive but worth it, minus the terrible plastic feet they should be bolted on.

I have the seemingly same playset but product number 90042. I purchased it new a few years ago but never put it together (long story). Do these directions apply to my playset as well?

Unfortunately, no. There are too many differences and this video would probably just confuse you!

My biggest complaint so far is I had to unload 4 of the boxes to find the instructions, only to see that the instructions are organized by box.

It depends on the person and their helpers! Most of our reviewers have said it took them a couple of days.

It took me about 16-18 hours total. I was mostly working by myself --- I'd do an hour or two before work and during lunch breaks; I was able to get it done over the course of 2 weeks. Overall it wasn't too bad - I'm in decent physical shape and work out often, so I think that was one of the reasons I was able to to put most of it together on my own. I did, however, need my wife to help when installing: 1) the roof panels; 2) the slide/tower deck to the main frame; and 3) the climbing wall. In addition to the tools Lifetime recommends having on hand, I'd also recommend having an 8' or 10' ladder. I only had a 6' ladder and was able to get it done, but doing the roof was tricky with a shorter ladder and could get dangerous. My biggest complaint is that some of the provided hardware was faulty for me and broke - I had to make a couple visits to the hardware store to get more mating socket heads/sleeves. The issue I saw was twofold- 1) The threads were oversized on at least 3 of my bolts, you could visibly see the defects; and 2) Making matters worse, Lifetime pre-installs blue Loctite on all the hardware, making the mating of the bolt and sleeve very tight. Which normally would be a good thing, but when you have defective hardware, it was literally impossible to mate the bolt and sleeve without it breaking. This happened on at least 3 of them for me... I chatted with LifeTime customer service to get more bolts and was advised that they're made in China and they would be unable to provide me with more hardware until at least 6months - 1 year from now. The CS agent gave me the size of the bolts though, so I was able to go to my local hardware store and find similar hardware. To me this is all completely unacceptable, especially for a premium swing set/outdoor equipment brand like LifeTime. With that said - My 2.5 year old daughter loves her Lifetime swingset and the quality/build/aesthetics are great. I really like this swingset, but a little ticked off at some of the poor-quality hardware pieces provided and Lifetime's inability to replace it within a reasonable timeframe.
