We assembled this recently and it was pretty easy, just as illustrated (except the part where they really work fast - we couldn't match their speed). Note that there are two types of nuts. Make sure you pay attention and use the right nuts in the right places!

Someone help. We have taken this thing apart 3x and started over. The large blue triangles in the middle will not lay flush.

On the second level of bars with the green tubes I still see a bit of threading but the rest is all secured tightly. Is this still ok and safe?

The instructions say that we should no longer see the threading in between the tubes after tightening all the hardware, however the first level junctions are not cleanly lined up and I would need to tighten them significantly to bend the tubes so they are flush. All other joints seem fine. Is this expected?

I had the same. I tried to tighten more and more until I cracked the screw. Maybe the parts are not correct. Maybe it is a faulty production?

I gave it another try. And it works now. I just really went always in the same direction, startet each level at the same bar/side - a specific order so to say, and let the screw really loose! and now everything fits almost perfectly. Big difference to my first try!!

My second set of bars tilt out not in. Is there a specific way to lay the 1st layer or next to get them leaning inward?

I just really went always in the same direction, startet each level at the same side - a specific order so to say, and let the screw really loose! and now everything fits almost perfectly. Big difference to my first try!! So this is my advice. The bending outward is just in the beginning, it turns inward when you go on. Hard to imagine, but true!! ;) It is just unfortunate, that during my first try I somewhat damaged the paint. I hope it won’t get rusty too fast…

Same issue one the second and third row. Contacted Lifetime, no help. Was about to return it and then used my Milwaukee M18 impact driver with a 1/2” socket to tighten them. My M12 could not do it. I meticulously followed the instructions and BILT app. I tightened bottom up as well. Will see how it hold ups this summer, luckily Costco will take it back if there’s any issues. Don’t count on the warranty through Lifetime. My kids like it but this was a pain to install. I’m still shocked this passed residential quality control.

What are you using to tighten all the hardware? Like what is attached to the drill? It definitely isn’t the same hex drive bit that my kit came from. I’m having a hard time tightening everything up.

My very top bars stick up way farther to the top, they don't come in to each other and it is impossible to get the bolt through all of them. We have been trying for hours and they will not all come together enough to put the bolt through! Help!

@@LifetimeProductsAssembly fabulous! Is there an option to not attach the lowest level to make it shorter? Or does it need to be assembled at full height? I have ordered one for my 3 and 4 year old to play on and am currently waiting for delivery
@LifetimeProductsAssembly

@@shelbyb.9566 You would have to assemble it at it's full height. If you're looking for a smaller option you can look into our 54" climbing dome. www.lifetime.com/lifetime-90939-climbing-dome

Is it OK to use this in a backyard without fall protection? If something is needed, what have people used? Just received and I'm nervous to set it up for my 2.5 and 5 year old, and 3 year old home daycare kid without something underneath but the playground rubber tiles cost a lot more than the tower itself and I'm not sure which are the best option. Thanks!!

One of the most important things you can do to reduce the likelihood of serious head injuries is to install shock-absorbing protective surfacing under and around your play equipment. There are different types of surfacing to choose from; materials such as wood mulch/chips, engineered wood fiber (EWF), or shredded/recycled rubber mulch for play equipment. If maintained properly, this should be adequate. Do not install home playground equipment over concrete, asphalt, or any other hard surface. A fall onto a hard surface can result in serious injury to the equipment user. Detailed instructions are found in the assembly manual and can be downloaded from the manufacture’s website at lifetime.com under the model number. If you have any more questions please contact our Customer Service Department for further information.

I noticed I was never instructed to use a single washer (ARL), and I have a whole bunch included. Also, there are so many lugnnuts left (GAX). The dome looks good, but I just want to make sure I did everything properly.

If you look at step 1.34 in this video 13:26. The hardware is listed on the right side where the hardware "ARL" is being used. You will also see this in the instruction manual. You should have used GAX x19. If you have extra, then that is okay. We try to have extra hardware just in case.
