Coming from a dancer, body image is one of the hardest things on dance. They will pick the skinnier prettier girl over the one that has muscle because of other sports. I can tell Presley is having to deal with this and it makes me heartbroken.

I think Abby saw it looked like her knee wasn’t straight, but really it’s just the shape of her legs. Abby must’ve said that her legs are shaped that was so it looked like she didn’t straighten her knee, Presley might’ve misinterpreted that. As a dance teacher you point out corrections, and tell your student ways to improve herself. You don’t say to her that her body is wrong, that she’s a mess or that her hair is ugly, you don’t use those words even if that’s what you mean. This pretty girl was crying in the bathroom doing something NO ONE in this world should do... wishing to be someone else, wishing to have a different body. All of that because of this stupid show, I’d love parents to understand that no amount of fame or money is worth risking your kid’s confidence. Those comments hurt for a lifetime.

That baby worked so hard and she really didn’t want to leave she wanted to prove herself. Yeah Abby is harsh but that’s how it is. In dancing, gymnastics figure skating cheerleading etc everything is critiqued not just the skill the uniformed look (whatever that may be) that’s just how it is. It’s been like that if you’re too sensitive or you don’t want to expose your children to that type of environment pick a different hobby/sport
