👋I'm checking in January 4th 2021. This video is still very relevant and speaks directly to the issue I've been having the last two years since I decided to become an entrepreneur. The ideas just won't stop coming. About 90% of them seem very feasible. I like how you break them down into titles of loose thoughts, developed thoughts, and action plans. I never ever thought of it that way. This video is so helpful. I've been keeping my ideas in notebooks, folders, sticky notes, and digital notes on my mobile app and even in the spreadsheet on my computer. 😳 I've got two major business ideas, with a couple of smaller subdivisions of my business that all complement each other. One of them is also a faith-based business. I am so happy I came across your Channel. Will be checking out more of your content.👍

This is great! Thank you for sharing! I can’t tell you how many thoughts stay in my head and eventually disappear, until I hear someone else say it out loud! This will help me to get my ideas into motion or allow them to purposely be eliminated rather than simply forgotten.

1min in and i swear its like you're in my head! The thoughts and constant ideas never leave! Its always goin which leads to disorganized chaos and anxiety. My therapist recommended white boards and they def help!💯. I need one super huge one like a giant wall of white board😆

Unbelievably helpful. Effective too! I've given up on writing my thoughts, pushing my lifestyle to stick to a topic so I'm not scrambling all the time, but the ideas always come and it's inevitable. I've been doing that loose idea in departments, not concentrating much until I set a date on it. I always try to come back to my scramble/random notes, there's a ton of them. I love the moving up or crossing it out too, after some time and a more concrete plan it does become irrelevant. Thanks again!

Came across this randomly. It is old, but to my experience, the people I have seen doing these sort of mind mapping were always very insecure and constantly anxiously worried that something was to go wrong somewhere, and that they might feel failed in the end. I’ve also seen people keeping themselves caught in endless mind mapping not going anywhere practically, or tending strongly towards micro management. I just write down ideas and have simply always gone for it. What to do to achieve the goal is pretty much evident and logical. However, mind you, an idea is just an idea, one will have to be dealing with the real world. Feedback and input by others are constantly needed. Things will never go as plan or as thought, circumstances change, there will be resistance, and one has to adjust. The danger of too much mind mapping is that creativity may suffer. Just keep focus on the vision and commit but leave room for flexibility and creativity underway.

*MY THOUGHTS* Great illustration in this video and I will def put this into action. Having too much thoughts is a sign you worry about yourself a lot. You are not prepared to accept what you have to do yet, so you distract yourself long enough to get ideas. You must put your feet down and get into the action or else you spend majority time dreaming about completing things. The only up side with prolonging ideas and sorting them out like this, is you gradually train yourself to think and see in a particular mindset that serves your goal. And that is helpful, but the real life situations up ahead will only be experienced when you apply yourself. So don't get too distracted and remember that actually doing things is what gets things done.

This is definitely helpful tip. Thanks for sharing. I get lots of crazy ideas but they tend to slowly evaporate because I don’t list them all. Instead I peak one at any given time which takes my whole attention. The good news is it does get accomplished. The bad news is, at the expense how many more ideas that slipped away?

Loved this. I used to have a white board for my writing projects in my office; now I work from my 1 bedroom apt and there isn't any wall space. I've used all of it productively already for my jewelry supplies, like a wall of hammers, etc. I work the way you do and would like to have this again. I loved being able to stare at it and add, moved, delete, etc. I have 2 businesses, and always working on another book, and my head jumps and is so creative. I would like to return to the efficiency of a white board again. I'm am avid mind mapper (30 years of experience teaching this as well). Love and use Mind Manager app but it doesn't seem to really work for me. Do you have other ideas for someone with limited space challenges like I have?
@anwarbutt8879 Жыл бұрын
Did you ever get the answer to your question about limited space. I hear you totally. How about as an alternative using a large Artist pad like A1 in a portfolio style binder - wall space is definitely better to have the ideas visually represented and on full display, but in reality how many people have the luxury of this amount of free wall space. Great concept though I love it !!

You can buy unframed white board cheaply at craft stores or office supply stores. Its usually by the poster board. They are two sided. They are very light in weight. Contact velcro strips work well to hang them.
