When I'm plant shopping I prefer to buy the smallest plants I can find! I get the most satisfaction from taking a little, small plant and growing it into something glorious! So I prefer to look at the little 2 and 4 inch pots to see what wonders I can find! But isn't it relaxing to browse in those shops and be surrounded by all that green?🙂🙂🙂🙂

I always love to "virtually" shop with you. I'm in Western Canada and I know that what you're showing will eventually be in our big box stores. I like the way you comment on plants and it's so very relaxing. Thanks again for sharing! I'm a big fan of yours ❤️

Moonlight crassula was that neat one that was in that mini red planter! Thanks for the shopping trips, our stores are empty here in MN...I bought a cordyline today which I was not too excited but researched it and it seems like it should do well!! It was a pinkish variety! See you next time...thanks

I just ran across one of the new Costa Farms "Frosted Ghost" Aglaonema at Lowes. Such a stunning plant and so unique for an Agnaonema. It's a beautiful blue/grey almost like a Silver Sword Philo. But you were running across the green ones with the white edge, which i haven't seen that one. I totally agree about the trays of little items, there's often some little treasures in there. Just like on the tables of succulents I've run across the odd lonely rare plant now and then. That one really variegated syngonium at the end, wonder if that was a Batik? On my wish list.

The Bear Paws are Cotoleydon Lady Smithensis and the Small Opuntia is subulata. The snake plants are Sanseveria. The pony tail palms are Bocarnia recurvata . The old man Cactus are Cepalocereus senilis and the variegated jade is Crassula argentea variegata . The small succulent in the red pot is Crassula moon glow

My favourites are your plant shopping and thrift shopping videos and see what you have purchased at the end of the video. I just have a few wishlist plants i want to purchase mainly Hoya’s then will concentrate on what i have in my collection and caring for them. It always upsets me when they die or not doing well. The Aglaonema Pink Star the colours looks lovely are they easy to take care of? Never had those species of plants seems popular especially over Valentines Day. I am not fond of the Anthurium with those pointy node on top of the blooms something about it kinda scares me.

I have found some great finds at the big box stores, however, it is so frustrating at times when the plants are labeled "assorted" without the actual variety on the label. In any case, it is nice to see some what was once a "rare" plant showing up for the rest of us to purchase at an affordable price.

On the northern Pennsylvania border Lowes has only the dead and dying indoor plants. No terracotta pots either. Zero terracotta or any clay planters. Unbelievable. No soil amendments. They do have some really pretty plant killing planters but nothing that will sustain life in the succulent category.
