You were saying that it’s hard that kids at school have to worry about violence and violence in general and I totally agree. Today at our local mall, there was a shooting, but luckily no one was hurt, but for the people there, it was panic by people screaming and running. Several police were there and I’m sure it was really scary for the ones there. It’s sad to see what we have to worry about when we never should have to.

Here at Good Samaritan in Waconia a nursing supervisor came up with this idea to hold our tubing to hide the tube with a catheter holder with velcro strips it really works no one knows that I am being tube feed. It is an amazing tool for us who depend on the feeding tube to get proper nourishment.

We have a right to defend ourselves in the USA. We have good gun laws. The only thing that needs changed is that background checks should show if someone has a mental illness WITH violent tendencies. Not all mental illnesses though. Otherwise we have good gun laws. Fact#1: Chicago and Los Angeles have some of the strictest gun laws in the USA and yet they have some of the highest gun violence rates in the country. Fact 2: most instances of gun violence is committed with guns that were either obtained illegally or guns that are illegal to own already. Handguns are actually the most used gun violence cases. Fact 3: you don’t need a gun to cause mayhem. If someone wants to do harm they will find a way. Other countries might might have high gun violence rates but they have high knife attack rates, bombings, etc. literally anything can be used as a weapon.

The alarm part was so sad. I'm in uni too, but not in the US, so when the alarm rings in my building, 95% of the time it's just the damn lab door alarm that rings after being open for like 20 seconds. The other 5% is like fridges beeping because it's not cold enough, or a hood window being lifted too far up, etc. I don't even think we have a security alarm.
@849534 жыл бұрын
That alarm may be in the hallway, but may be for an alarm in the handicapped stall. Many places put them in so that if someone who is handicapped needs help/has an emergency, they can pull the alarm (usually right next to the toilet.

@@nigonkouk1770 I agree with Emil- there's nothing wrong with facts bc it will def hurt more to have hope and then have your dreams and yrs crushed later. It's so sad in this society where they say "go follow your dreams- you can do it!" - which is true u Should. But make sure it's still realistic. This is why so many students do wrong careers and realize it's not for them- but they can't do anything about it bc they payed so much money/debt/ and too much yrs and time to do it- and they can't back out of it. That's why they end up becoming into a forced cycle and be unhappy with their job. I'm a high-school student (junior)- and I understand this and that I really agree with this- and to look at facts but just as make sure it's your passion to do it. Cuz you never know - maybe tht dream you have been having forever- and u do it- u realize that you can't do it for whtv reason but you have no other option or you get this constant mantra in your head that - hey it's prob my dream. Maybe it gets better- even thg deep down u know you don't really want this type of pathway career anymore. But hey! Because everyone is getting their "passions and dreams" - then maybe you are too. This is a really destructive false hope the society puts on us or teachers (not all thg bc some have talked that they wanted to show their students realistic goals and that their dreams really aren't capable for their capacity - as good constructive criticism- but they couldn't bc the teachers would loose their jobs and they had to go along with and lie) = again reinstating the whole concept of false hope and dreams.

what are your reasons for going all the way up to a doctorate in PT? honestly, i have never heard of anyone needing a doctorate for that before. super interesting! :) what is your dream job or what can you do with that degree in the field of PT? Anyways, I too am a college student with EDS and it is SO HARD! But thankfully my school has awesome disability services. I get to make my own due dates/deadlines, go to school on my own schedule whenever I am able, extra time on tests, quiet room for test taking, etc. I also get my own "access specialist" as they call themselves to help advocate for my disability. def couldn't do it without it! but even if it takes a lifetime to get our degree slow and steady wins the race. most students never finish in 4 years anyway. really is a big myth.

Hi hi! Im not her, but i have finished my undergrad in exercise science and my plan is to do PT. Rules changed a few years before I started college that says you have to have a doctorate to become a physical therapist (not sure if that’s the same everywhere, but in my state that’s how it works.) It used to require a Masters.
@gamergirlmars5 жыл бұрын
@@liyahonthemove oh wow! thanks for the info. that is so interesting to me. I think that is really upsetting if that would be me wanting to be a PT. that is a lot of money to pour into school and you only get the salary that is nowhere where it should be for that amount of schooling. that is why i was so curious it just sounded so excessive. reminds me just like a teacher.... you put in so much work and even more so that you are hands on with patients every single day compared to a specialist who spends 10 minutes with you and doesn't even check you physically. i get way more out of seeing PT than I do with a lot of other docs I have seen. SO hands on and literally full of so much knowledge. The salary is not good enough imo and that is wrong. :(

I do the same thing, and caffeine usually absorbs through the stomach wall like a drug so yes! As long as the coffee stays in for at least 15 minutes or so, I think. However I have no issues with stomach drug absorbtion and some people with GP do, so if you cant absorb meds through the stomach wall you might not absorb caffeine either.
