Behaviour-based questions. The hardest ones to answer, in my opinion, because we have not always faced that situation in the past, but we must talk about it, that means we have to be creative and think really fast. At least some of the questions may be common, like the ones you mentioned in this video, so it is possible to imagine a scenario and rehearse it. I would like to say thank you for sharing this valuable information on your channel. Very helpful. Wish you the best, Abby!

I only discovered your Interview videos just a week ago. I had 24-hours to prepare for an interview this week, as I did this past Wednesday, Sept 18th. I watched at least a dozen of your instructional videos beforehand, and I have to admit, they helped me immensely. Video interviews are usually 30 minutes in length, but this hiring manager spent exactly one hour. I answered at least 20 technical questions, one after another, and 19 were right. (haha) The first thing I said to him was that 'I was a good fit for the position.' I learned that from your video and the reason he spent one hour is because he wanted to 'dig deep' into the behavioral questions and knowledge questions. So, I just wanted to thank you for all your good advice! Keep up the good work. ;)

I don't mind these questions, and I almost always have an example. However, my problem is having many examples of answers for questions you may be asked, and. then trying to pick out of you brain the perfect example for the question that has been asked. This is why I think with interviews, you should be allowed to prepare for the questions by them sending them to you beforehand. Especially these type of questions. Many people would be perfect for some jobs but because they get nervous or can't think of the perfect example for an answer, they get written off as being unsuitable for the job

I agree! Why not give candidates the interview questions prior to the interview? Though, you may be able to prepare a few different scenarios ahead of time a that could apply to several different questions. Check out this video for examples: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gH6Vo4mAod2hqpYsi=P0SL6ejx5MTn01KB

Abby, you are fabulous. Your tips are helpful and your way of presenting them makes me more curious about how to approach interview questions more confidently. I was wondering if you are planing to also provide a summary, a handout of your clips, as I would love to see a kind of documentation. Thank you so much for doing this:-)

Thank you! At this time I do not have "paper" versions of my videos (summaries, handouts, or other documentation), but that is a good idea! I do have a blog on my website - it seems like this could be a good place for me to start saving that info! Thanks for the inspiration :)

Got it! I like the C.A.R method.

Me too! It's my preference over the STAR method for sure. Even though they're the same thing, it's easier for me to remember.
