10:49 NEXIEZ-MRL to be specific; there is a keyhole on the hall station for the logic cabinet. 13:05 Not Hitachi, that is a ThyssenKrupp (an Asian model to be specific). Hitachi looks different - they generally use black buttons and have a different chime. 15:14 The indicator is American-style. Not necessarily the lift. 22:43 That could also be a NexWay-S (Series AW or IP/AP). We cannot say for sure unless we take a look if the top floor hall station has a keyhole for the logic cabinet. Weird the last lift had such bad levelling for a Mitsubishi. I guess it had not been set up correctly. In my entire life I haven't seen such a Mitsubishi with such a bad levelling, even those not maintained by Mitsubishi.

@@noblenumbat I don't think so, my Redimi note 11 Pro 5G (what a name) has horrible low light performance, and can only record at 30fps. Rubbish. iirc he's using a Samsung, but I really don't know, so don't quote me on that. But a Redimi is likely, because of how cheap they are

@@mushroomcraft In fact in one of his videos I saw the reflection of his phone's camera and it seemed to be like a Redmi Note 10.
@mushroomcraft2 күн бұрын
@@noblenumbat ah I'm surprised. The low light performance of my Redimi which is a better model is HORRIBLE. It lowers the framerate to 15fps to get a longer shutter speed, and is still really dark. That's why I use a Lumix G9, I can't stand mobile phones. They're convenient, but crap

In Egypt you are constantly watched. This is one thing about the country that I hated. Plus a lot of people react negatively when filming. In Alexandria on 3 different occasions I was told not to film the trams when I was doing my regular video of them, but once I was surfing them I didn't get any negative reactions. So filming is less socially acceptable than tram surfing, WTF! With this lift adventure in Cairo, in the posh buildings I was watched a lot of the time, or there was CCTV. There were occasions when I could have surfed, but I guess I was more focused on exploring the city at that point. In the poorer buildings it was hard to go anywhere without people asking me if I was lost. It is got annoying very quickly. In my video where I went in the motor rooms of these old lifts, I was expecting to be confronted at any moment. What would have most likely happened if I was seen is that someone would come running aggressively, then they would see I was white, and then their aggression would probably turn into confusing, and they would ask millions of questions. I would have had to act like a dumb foreigner, but at the same be assertive enough that I didn't want them to help me (in the form of ordering a taxi or providing some other service for me) as they would then expect a tip. If I had been seen lift surfing I have no idea what would have happened, but it would not be good.
