I am 78 years old, 2 years bladder prolapse stage 4 ( historectomy approx 30 years ago)......I opted against surgery these exercises and lap swimming have relieved my symptoms greatly!

@@annaporter3442 great question, I actually recommend that people spend most of week one focusing on letting go and releasing the pelvic floor muscles! If you get the Lift series, you'll see that there's what I call a "morning primer" move. In week one, it's additional relaxation (the frog stretch). In week two, the morning primer includes Kegels lying on your back. The week two daily exercise routine also includes a bit more core and pelvic floor strengthening (seated kegels, etc.). It's a very gentle and gradual progression! I've found that this works best for people.

@@vibrantpelvichealth hi Dr Bri. I purchased the Lift program. I've actually been doing 'week one' for about 4 weeks because I want to go at my own pace! With every move, when you say to "engage the pelvic floor", do you mean a FULL on hard squeeze (like a hard kegel?) Or maybe just a half kegel? Or should we choose ourselves? I really need to get Facebook and sign into your fem squad! Feeling more hopeful every day.

Not only do I have rectocele but also spine surgery many years ago and a pfpt told me my internal sphincter does not open. I am hoping this will help. Any opinion or recommends?

I just found your videos and I am impressed completely, however, I just had prolapse surgery 7wks ago. How will this program help me? I am looking for a program that will help me get back into my regular exercise program without fear. I am so ready to feel good and be stronger in my pelvic floor, as I do not want to have to do it again or have a repair. Please enlighten me!

Ask your surgeon about his or her specific precautions, as every procedure and every patient is a little bit different! But in general, you should be able to start Lift Week One exercises around 4-6 weeks post-op. If you're in earlier stages of healing, then I encourage you to focus on deep breathing exercises. I have vaginal prolapse. I don't know what type of this prolapse is but i can feel 2,3 bulges in squatting position with my hands. I'm so worried about this. Doing kegels from last 20 days but after mild improvement it feels same each week. Will this can be improve permanently with time?

Some people are able to reverse their prolapse and become asymptomatic. Our Lift program can potentially help. A lot of natural healing can happen during the postpartum phase. If possible, we recommend talking to your local pelvic floor PT for individualized guidance. ~ Vibrant Support

Once a day is good. Although some women in my community do the moves twice a day. You can experiement with the number and see what frequency works best for you. Also don't skip stretching !

Hi dr Bri ! I am passing through a tough time and i think i have prolapse even if drs have told me i dont. I have a pelvic surgery for removing some fibroids i still have ny uturus but the thing is that dr rold me i can do exercise and i did yoga after week 3 so i think that made a prolapse and i have pain. So I cant move to another place because of the pandémic and I need to be as you say " my own gurú " so i dont know were to start . I see this video is for week one , should i do this first even if i have pain ? Thank you so much

@@cvs1237 during the bridge (hip lift) moves you are activating your gluteal (butt) muscles and your pelvic floor muscles. The pelvic floor muscles are what you're using when doing kegels. I hope that clears it up!

I can do the movements, but i find it hard to visualize the pelvic bone and muscle move in and out with the breath. I makes my mind tense and i cannot relax.

@@maureenc.1129 your comment is tough to read when I offer so much for free; over 600 free videos on KZbin. If you've seen the ad revenue from a channel the size of mine (which is not that big, in the grand scheme of KZbin), you'd realize that I certainly can't support my family on it... Especially since I try to maintain a high quality viewer experience by minimizing the amount of mid-roll (mid-video) ads. I also pay a video editor to make the videos look great... all of this cuts into my KZbin ad "profit." Honestly, KZbin is not a money maker for me... it's a creative outlet, something I enjoy, and my way to serve my community. The truth is that we all need to make a living -- including myself. I've found that the simple act of investing in my Lift program helps people take it more seriously. It improves their commitment and their results. That being said, I understand that not everyone can afford to pay... Hence the 600+ free videos that will always remain accessible on my channel. I encourage you to remember that there's (usually) a REAL PERSON reading the comments that you make online...

It might took her years to master on pelvic floor issues and come up with these exercises and lifestyle change tips to make these videos that we just simply click and benefit.
