This has made such a massive change in my life after 2 sessions. I swear! I am a mom of 3 and after my youngest was born, my pelvic floor muscles were so weak, the doctor checking me didn't even register a kegal on the machine. I have been using liners and pads for probably 3 years. I thought I had no other solution. I started a week ago, and did 2 sessions, and havent used a pad since. It's insane!!!

I can honestly say that this is the best pelvic floor video I have seen. Since practicing a few times my physio has been able to measure the improvement. The fact that the leg tendons are recognised as being involved is a massive help as I injured an adductor and the physio concentrates purely on kegels. So the strengthening of the legs has helped the significant improvement. Thank you so much Dr Bri

I really appreciate how much of an exercise regimen you make this. It's very easy to watch videos about individual exercises, and then forget them all because they don't form a cohesive workout. But love how you progress through it all, and give time to actually make this a regular watch to reinforce doing these daily.

UTI...and then finally today PSA= 0! PVPT got me thru- presurgery 3 sessions on relaxing my hypertonic pelvic floor. diaphragm to diaphragm breathing, combined with relaxation and stretches( happy babies, butterflies, dead bugs). Internal massage and pain release (levator ani, ishceococygeus, obturator ,etc.) And all external muscles of the Pfloor. Post surgery a huge bad case of pudendal neuralgia, all three branches.Thank God I am working with a PF PT! I have sent some of your vids to my PFPT. Your foot moves gave me some insight into my situation. I had an operation on my leg where they took part of my fibula for a graft. But in so doing they must have damaged a nerve that caused my right big and next toe to feel contracted. To the point that I have worn only Vibram toe shoes for 10 years. Years ago I started to have terrible classic pelvic pains, which my dr at the time thought was prostrate infection etc. After about a year I finally got to a pelvic floor therapist, which has helped immensely. Had it redone 2 times since. My whole point is that my whole inner balance from the right toed up is messed up, and perhaps that was the trigger that brought all this on. Just a thought. Anyway, love what you ate doing to help people. Keep it up😀

I really appreciate when you say, "the pelvic floor and pelvic strength begins at the feet" I have had issues with my feet a long time, as well as unresolved diastasis recti, and now prolapse symptoms in my bladder that keep worstening sometimes because I feel like I haven't totally figured out all the factors, and ways to move carefully yet I have realized I have tight shoulders, I have had tight hips, and that I need to relax my shoulders to help me be in better posture for example. My feet have been funky and wonky a long time though, and I sometimes even feel like my lower part of my body is disconnected from my upper part of my body. Is the normal when going through pelvic floor dysfunction? I have tried to look up , "Dr. Bri feet" to see what videos you might have about foot health and taking care of them better and finding ways to connect with them better when it comes to moving with foot in connection with pelvic floor but no luck for now. This was a nice surprise to see you mention the importance of feet and foot stance though! I have weird lumps of tension on the inner middle of my feet, I wonder if thats connected to my pelvis being unstable? And now they are feeding off eachother with increased tension.
@aorescanin2 жыл бұрын
I also struggled with feeling my feet & feeling disconnected between the upper and lower half of my body. Learning about Traditional Chinese Medicine helped me understand how the whole body works together as a system. The kidney meridian originates at the inner middle bottom part of the foot & travels upwards through the body. It corresponds to the fear emotion. Tension and feeling off balance here can cause other issues throughout the body. Acupuncture and moxibustion (burning herbs in this case at the sole of the feet) completely changed my quality of life, I could literally feel the energy turn on at the bottom of my feet. I highly recommend it, or learning more about TCM.
@tazlove20532 жыл бұрын
@@aorescanin wow! Thank you so much for sharing this information with me, my whole life has been plagued with excessive, hyperreactive emotions, and that pattern followed me into parenthood, and I am still trying to figure out how to work with strong emotions like fear and anxiety and anger and stress. That makes a lot of sense to me that perhaps the lumps in my feet are connected to that!

So Dr Bri are these exercises only for the female body? If yes do you have exercises for the male anatomy? This is amazing... keep it up.
@vibrantpelvichealth2 жыл бұрын
No, these exercises are for ALL bodies! Male and female! In fact, all of my videos can be done by women and men, although I do have a men's health playlist here: kzbin.info/aero/PLDputRBPsHFS-Lyuh0f9KvKwsADA-QpiB

Hi ! Thank you for these helpful exercises. When you say “allow your pelvic floor to tighten” with exhale, are you actively performing a kegel? Or just letting the pelvic floor naturally draw in?
@vibrantpelvichealth3 жыл бұрын
GREAT question, Monisha! In this situation (when doing these exercises), you're letting the pelvic floor naturally draw in and up with the exhale and then giving it a little "extra boost" by actively engaging the muscles just a little. Not a clench, just a little "extra." Kind of like you're squeezing to test the ripeness of an avocado. Gentle, but intentional!

This was a wonderful and very informative video. I found that when doing the squats and the floor toes in and out while moving the leg that I wasn't sure how to breath or tighten abs or not. Ribs on floor exercise were popping out. Can you share a bit more on how to properly tighten and breath while doing these exercises? Thank you! I look forward to all you share.

Thank you for all the videos you do to help others! I did this workout and the area around my tailbone is sore. Not terribly so but still sore when I sit down. Is that normal? Did I do those one set of tail bone moves too aggressively? Thank you!

Thanks so much for this. I just wanted to share that I’m overweight, so I couldn’t feel my butt bones or sense my pelvic floor at all, so it’s hard to know if I was doing it right.

As a distance swimmer majority of my life feel treading water for long periods of time as well as swimming was extremely good for using your muscles... I have not been able to for the last 6 yrs due to being a 24/7 cg and never having time for myself and miss the energy derived from daily swims and exercise so much hope to be able to get back to my life someday soon ..
