Thanks bro. I think you can analyze the lifting lug design separately in STAAD.Pro with plate element based on the load from global model or you can combine it in one global model but it will take more time to run. Regarding the location of lifting lug on the structure, the lifting points selection depend on the workability of the operation in terms of crane access / clearance, rigging gears availability, structural integrity, etc. Usually it will be placed on the strongest point on the structure due to impact load factor need to be taken into account.

@@swamy084 it is just engineering adjustment, I think if we don't add this weak spring, staad will add it automatically but warning sign will appear.
