Great tutorial on how to take the basic T to a whole new level. Did something similar to a Burda pattern recently when I forgot to add the front seam SA on a top. Just ran a length of very pretty lace down the front and zigzagged it to the fabric. They sell lots of these in the fabric shops here in Mexico, so I'm going next week and grab a couple and have some sewing room fun. Thanks again.

La Bella Donna is one of my TNT patterns! Your idea of thrifting appliqués is genius! Love the way this one turned out, it’s so beautiful. Excited to see what you do with the other one😊 This just gave me an idea on what to do with a mother of the bride dress from several years ago. Previously I dismantled my wedding dress and used all the appliqués and fabric on my granddaughters christening dress.

You should grab some cute fabric and make the most simple project like a handkerchief. Just create some straight lines and if you have any cute design stitches, go for it! Allow your imagination run wild, fuel yourself to move on to the next project and then the next. Happy Sewing🫶🏽

Beautiful! I know you used a thrifted appliqué from another garment so maybe you wouldn’t need to, but on a brand new appliqué, would you prewash by hand first? Thanks so much for this video! Once again you’ve inspired me to greater things!

Yes, I’d wash a brand new one for sure. And double yes by hand. It’s too delicate for the machine. Some are cotton and can shrink 😀
