Works for me. I was trying to get help from the devs with no luck, tried many different solutions.. but this one works like a charm! Just starting the sim that way seems to not use steam and for example it's achievements, time counting etc

Gooood god! Hey, @EngineersEscape, you made my day! I stopped flying liftoff about two years ago due to this fokin reason! Developers were useles! But thanks to your findings, I figured out that my E5-2630 v4 CPU needs to run every even core in the range from 0 to 10. That is enough, I did not test the rest of 30 CPU, I see that I can set to graphics to the best settings now, not having a single glitch or lag! 👍

This actually worked for me. About 30-80% more performance, much higher %lows on FPS. Maybe it has something to do with high core counts? (R9 5950X + RTX 3080 here, I also only gave it core 0 - 7 (total 8 threads allocated via Task Manager).

I have the issue since updating and affinity helps a little. Intel 7900 4 cores 8 threads and gtx1050 No issues at all before update. Selecting threads 3,6,7 is the best I get now but can only run hay bale map at 45-60 fps. Any other map is 20-30fps. Before I was 100fps in all maps. No idea what to try now other than downgrade to the beta physics which still works

Liftoff has been running fine, even yesterday... today logic core 19 keeps hitting 100% and frames drop to 2fps for a few seconds every 8-10 seconds... changing affinity didn't seem to change anything; tried a bunch of combinations and load still seemed to be on 19.... running i9-7900x. Temps are fine. any ideas?
