On this super-quick project, we make some diffusers for the Neewer P200-2.4G lights.
Also a quick review of the Neewer P200-2.4G video lights.

Man, I have neewer lights but not the exact model as you. Mine has channels top and bottom to slide sheets of plastic in and I've been trying to find colored panels but can't find the exact 1mm (or .04 inch) thick transparent panels. However, mine came with barn doors also that I took off, I can get whatever thickness is available and just put them on with the screws! I was so focused on getting colored sheets to fit those channels I didn't even think of the screws!

The diffusers you made are definitely better than the provided ones. But too bad Ash didn't like your sweater;)

What a difference from the huge bulbs and giant bowl-shaped reflectors with their huge clamps my father used back in the 40s and 50s when he took our home movies. And, I see, Ash had to add his two whiskers worth. I think he really didn't like you wearing the charcoal sweatshirt when you could be more colorful with the red one. LOL P.S. I attended a lecture and tea tasting recently and learned that "chai tea" is redundant. I was hoping to learn more about what type of tea was chai tea and, instead, had a language lesson. "Chai" is the Hindu word for tea. Granted, chai tea has a nice rhythm to it when one speaks the phrase, not unlike other words or phrases that have a pleasing rhythm when spoken. Take "onomatopoeia," for example, or "oreopteridia." However, "chai" still just means tea. LOL

Yes, lighting technology has come a long ways since... not that long ago, really, now that we stopped making light by heating up things (filaments) and started using crazy physics to send off photons (LEDs). 😉 And yeah I have a friend who always teases me about my 'tea tea latte'. I have heard some people call it simply 'chai latte'. In case you haven't found out yet what's in it, the recipe varies by region and what's available to them; some 'purists' say it's just black tea and milk, and the fancy stuff is called 'masala chai' which is usually black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cardamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice (which's got to be the most generic spice name there is!). 👍

@@SculptyWorks Back in the 70s and 80s my late husband used to make all sorts of trinkets that lited up with LEDs in several colors, but I remember mostly red ones. They were driven by computer chips. I even had special ones to light up the insides of our carved pumpkins! I'm not much of a tea drinker because of caffeine content (had to give up daily doses of caffeine in 97) but I just might try a masala chai with the cinnamon, ginger, etc. I guess I can get something like that at a Starbucks? There is one near where I live. And not too far away is a place called Everest that sells bubble tea. Maybe that store would be even a getter choice to find masala chai. Thanks for the info.

@@jthev I think if you ask for a 'chai tea latte' at any of the chain coffee places, they will give you a spice-filled thing with at least some of those spices. 😉
