This dove gray is classy. I think this color would pop with some PlayStation buttons; because it's already got the symmetrical lower analog sticks it'd look like a refugee from a universe where the PSP came out in the '90s to do battle with the Game Boy Color.

I got a gameboy shortly before getting a game boy color when it came out and man i never did like the green gameboy screen. I'm one to skip that step at 12 minutes to fix the scaling and coloring of gameboy games. I prefer the black and white. I remember everything was green like that back then from watches to calculators, that's one thing im glad is in the past haha

Can you tell me if the Miyoo Mini has that filter to make the screen look like an old original Gameboy screen that greenish tent, and will it have the black and white looking screen as well I just ordered me one on AliExpress and just wondering if it does or not the description was very vague as pretty much everything else on there or just a weird description that makes no sense because of the translation barrier

Ya, the Miyoo Mini has the RetroArch menu options and gameboy3x_dmg filter. There are some good Miyoo Mini tutorials on KZbin, if you decide you want to change to custom firmware (OnionOS or MiniUI) or just learn your way around the stock system, check out the Retro Game Corps or Joey’s Retro Handhelds channels for much better information than I can give.

@@OGTechNick thank you so much for your reply and telling me this information. I'm looking forward to getting mine and hopefully won't take long to get here. Can't rely on tracking it their tracking sucks, that or it might be the local post office either way you can't rely on it. I have had packages sitting on my front porch and when I would check to see if recent notifications and there will not be and when I go outside I would see the packages and quickly take them in and check the tracking info and still no find delivery notice until the next day. Unbelievable! I live in an area full of thieves and they love to snatch up your packages.

Does this come with one 64gb with games and OS all one SD? Or does it come with 2 SD cards one with the games and one with OS separate ?

These consoles usually come with a 64GB card that includes the games and OS. The 2nd SD slot is usually empty. If you buy the 128GB version there will be a card in the 2nd slot with more games. I think it’s best to just get the 64GB since the cards are low quality and will eventually need to be replaced.

I have a white one... I don't see too much of a difference from the white because it seems to be very "light" grey. Weird maybe it was made with leftovers of ink / materials?

I have a white one that’s been stored away for a couple months. I can compare them side by side soon. In person the grey seems more significant but I think it was just a very limited run with this light color. It is a very light grey, but I think it was intentional. I don’t think they were happy enough with the results to manufacture any more of that color though. There are a few new colors that seem to have just been released as well; translucent green and blue. I think I need to stop collecting them at this point. Gonna mod one with a set of white buttons and sticks I was sent, and I’m going to be giving a couple consoles away soon. Which color between white, red, translucent grey, translucent orange, translucent purple, and that light grey do you think would look best with the white buttons/sticks?

Nice to see all the r36s versions. Do you think its worth it to pay a bit more for the 128gb version? Or do they usually have many useless duplicates of the games pre-installed? I already own a retroid pocket2s which I love, but I want to get this so I have lots of games in 1 place. Just not sure which is better 64gb or 128gb. Cheers!

Definitely go with the 64GB card, and if you can, save it as a back up and flash everything to a higher quality card. The cards they come with are prone to failure and, yes, you’ll see a lot of duplicates on the larger cards anyway.

There are like 15,000 games included on the stock card, and it does include the games some of the other companies are leaving out, like the Mario games.

This is a grey version I previously received from another seller. I just placed that order for an orange model from the AliExpress scammer yesterday. I will film the unboxing to ensure I get a refund if it is, in fact, a scam. Whatever it is has already been shipped. I'm curious to see what's in the box, and I hope you are too!

Is the R43 pro stronger than this device?

It has a stronger chipset; RK3566 vs. RK3326, but it doesn't perform as well. The software is not optimized very well, and there doesn't seem to be much community support. If the R43 Pro (Also known as M18) were to get some good custom firmware, it should be able to outperform the R36S, but at this point, the R36S with ArkOS is still the Budget King 👑

Of course it does. Also has the big Konami 3. (TMNT, X-Men & Simpsons). Also has my personal holy grail: P.O.W. : Prisoners of War. (Like Double Dragon but better 😂)
