Yeah I usually don't really care and even close inspiration's fair game. If it's good it's good. But this? ... There is zero chance of not getting sued for it. I have no idea what the devs are thinking. This is to the point of complete idiocy from their part. Like 4:40 for example. There's not a single thing that would make me think it's anything else than Horizon. It's all there down to the red glint lenseflare of the enemies. Had someone shown that to me, I would've just felt "Oh I don't remember that hammer, maybe it was an option in DLC or something" A person could re-upload that part especially onto youtube and claim it's upcoming Horizon DLC and there'd be nothing to give a clue that it isn't.

The concept of giant robots with animal appearance was already seen in the anime Zoids, from the 90s, this concept is not owned by Sony, anyone can use it. The mistake I see in the game is the aesthetics of the characters, they should have looked like Horizon. Maybe a Chinese aesthetic would have been better. If the protagonist of Horizon is a redhead, to differentiate themselves, they should put a black-haired or blonde girl in Asian clothing on the cover image or have the protagonist be a male character in Asian clothing.

A horizon clone, but yet innovating on the monster and monster taming mechanics further than the other games. Neat. A very Palworld-esque "clone". Edit: I went and checked out the steam page. Couple of key differences between this and Horizon. This one has full blown survival mechanics with material gathering specifically for building your villages and homes, unlike the Horizon games whose material gathering was limited to weapons crafting and health only. Also, this has co-op up to 4 people. They're also implementing Monster Hunter gameplay mechanics into it. So this is really an Ark/MH clone with Horizon aesthetic.

It's very reminiscent of Horizon: Zero Dawn, but I think they're going for more of a Palworld angle with the robot design and customization shown near the end. Like I'm interested but wary? If there's an article that shows they relied heavily on AI for story development then I think it's a hard pass, personally.
