Makes sense, shoot he might've been the only one who knows what goes down around those parts, and cared enough to come help the guy just like the Black chef gentleman who also had the "shining" like Danny Torrence in the Shining movie, and fought the snow storm to help them.....but met a sad ending?

*I cannot, very well at least, in words express how genuinely smiley it made me to realize that this was some sort of Wendigo story. They're some of the cooliest looking monsters and I love this story.* 🦌☠️

This was tense. I can relate to all that snow and cold so it was creepy. We are vulnerable with extreme elements. I was rooting for the truck driver the whole time.

Doesn’t it make you think if all the lessons taught by parents the entire time growing in a place that gets a lot of snow. I listen to this and think, “didn’t his parents teach him x, y, & z?” My great grandparents used a rope to find the outhouse, because people without one would wander off and be found frozen 10’ from the house or miles from the house. When I built my fences where there are gates, I built them to permit me to climb them like a ladder, as the gate can’t be opened until it is all shoveled out.

That was a phenomenal story!!! As a truck driver I can relate to being snowed in in my truck. So I can actually pretend this is me and I’m in this guy’s situation. I used to listen to you when I was on the road when I would sleep. Now that I’m home I strictly listen when I take a shower where I can pay full attention, I’m very thankful for you and for your stories. Thanks again for such a great story!!!!!

New Lurker--LHH, I am in love with your narration. I happened upon your channel recently & I AM MESMERIZED by the cadence & timbre of your voice. More importantly, I am a fan of ALL GENRES OF HORROR, dating back from 'GIANT GILA MONSTER' & Abraham Stoker to Stephen King & M. Knight Shyamalan, with EVERYTHING 'HORROR-SCAPED' in between. Finally, listening to horror (as opposed to reading books /watching movies) is a relatively new experience for me.

The snowplow detail is a nice touch, for anyone unaware, plows have killed people before hurling stones up off the blade and even compacted ice, so the idea of one killing a wounded cryptid isn't as far fetched as you might think

Man, this story was amazing, normally i fall asleep with scary stories, because they are interesting so keep my mind occupied so it's easier for me to fall asleep, but damn, this one had me awake because my heart was pounding like crazy, which i never really had before, thanks for the amazing story and the amazing story telling, makes me think back of one of the few times it happened before, also on this amazing channel
