What the hell kind of an ending is that?! There was some really good writing in this one, but that ending was just way too abrupt. "Old lady's face falls off. Now I live here. The end." You gotta give more than that! I feel blue balled from that ending.

So what did he mean in the end when he said "I live here now"? Did the house kill him and keep his spirit trapped there like it did with the real estate agent and the parents? I assume the house tricked the agent in and killed her and took her form or commands her ghost to do stuff. But Casey never existed and was just the old woman. Who was the old woman and why did her face fall off? I feel like the story ended too abruptly and didn't give any hints or clues through out the story to answer the question.
@ysfelo38182 жыл бұрын
@@WhitneyDahlin agreed alot of questions, so the house took the realtor and a couple. This witch used them to be her 'parents' and tricked the kid and i guess he serves the house now just like the realtor and that couple. Btw everyone in this comment section is praising the narrator. But there isn't much of a discussion about the story its self. That's to bad i'm here for that.

There was a house near where I used to live that was always empty because apparently the guy who used to live there died ... I'm not proud of this but once on a dare I got into it through the garage... the house was at least 10 years untouched and full of stuff. From bottom to top, like a hoarder but everything was "new" like so many tools in boxes, grills, Nick knacks, odds and ends. The whole place covered. I was so scared that there was a ghost in there or something... then I found the weirdest thing.... on the top floor in the middle of the living room there was a small sleeping pad completely surrounding it in the empty shape of a person were Japanese p*rno mags... like the guy just laid there day and in day out surrounded by these magazines when he was dying... it sounds weird but even as a kid seeing it I knew something wasn't right. Like who would live like. this.... anyways my friend snuck in after me. Scared the ever loving Sh*t outta me and we both ran out... Now that I'm older I think back and wonder why it was left like that... maybe the family couldn't deal with it so they just paid the rent and never cleaned it. Weird and sad... Edit: that was like over 15 years ago... I wonder sometimes if it's still like that... just empty but full of the stuff representing the life story of someone's darkest days. Like obviously he had money. He had so much stuff. But none of it was opened. And I guess he had no one to share it with. Really that's the most terrible part.
