I wish I could still, but it wasn't in the cards for me. At least I can still do it as a hobby.

@@MRIsomewhaereguy Yep. Like I said, I'm 70 and not very strong any more, but I still can do some things regarding falling and cutting. If I am asked to help a friend or neighbor though, I am thinking that I should get a form for them to sign so that I can't be sued by their insurance company. You never know what might happen. It's sad that it has come to that, but we have to live in that reality.

That looked sketchy one mistake is all it would take with that wind cameras do no justice how bad wind is. Hogan did a great job cutting that tree great video Buckin.

Hogan absolutely killed it. He's come such a long way, becoming a real professional. That's how I learned with my grandfather right over my shoulder giving me some tips and tricks to fall a tree and alot of other things in life too. Must of had a proud dad moment there.

he was surprisingly humble on this one,, as any mistakes wood of involved an insurance claim i reckon, very proud of him , for even diggin in to this one ,. he usually does not like when i am tappin him onthe back and coachin' him but this one packed a punch and he wood not of attempted this without me ,, hes smart

Buckin it amazes me to see the respect hogan has for you. I've taught 3 boys how to cut trees and they all reach a point around age 18 when they suddenly think thy know more than me. You are truly a master and congrats on your efforts raising your boy!

Don't most kids think they know alot more than they around 16-23ish lol then you realize you don't know s### lol Logan a good kid plus bucking taught him well Idk for sure but I bet Logan has seen his dad when he got crushed an was broken so he knows when someone like bucking can get hurt bad it showed Logan to respect the danger of tree work that being said he has seen bucking do so many amazing things with trees an the respect bucking has from fellow tree men he know to listens to him . They got a great relationship as well it great to see

I love my canada west boots! I had a similar small issue with mine as well and they sent me new boots, new ones have been going strong and will for many more years. great company, ill never wear any other boot!

this summer i witnessed a lightning strike on one of my 100 ft plus tall pines the most insane thing i ever did see 100 ft of blue flames and sparks it still gives me goosebumps just thinkin about er!

Lightning is so incredible. Used to run a super old school RF machine for finger jointing and it would always fail and lightning streaks would imprint into the boards. Just incredible how powerful nature is

Theres something special about falling big trees. When im out getting firewood, i love cutting down the big standing dead spruce trees and i get to bust out my wedges!

I was cutting today with eye protection but when I took my glasses off and wiped the sweat from my face I didn't look first and wiped a half of thorn right into my eye, luckily it came right out...

you did that good ...at my age i probably am never going to be a faller , but you never know when a guy might have to.,,these things are all nice to learn about. It does look like patience is also a good part of it and not to cut up too far where you have to sweat bullets. Great Job and nice boots ..looking forward to bucking up a couple of truckloads of fir tomorrow and running both saws . 372 xp and 572 xp ..My 572 is stalling a bit and it has become a three puller ..suppose i better google and see if there is any adjustments i can make ...not sure with the autotune.Cheers
