@@DrSprigs I remember that show. Quinn abruptly quit SNL as he was no longer on Weekend Update as Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon took over at the time and he didn't do much that last season so he left. Then he was given that show by Comedy Central not long after.

I loved Spade's response to that, "I'll allow it." First because comics often don't laugh at other comics' jokes, they just nod in appreciation of good ones. And second because of the sketch where Alec Baldwin serves as the Prince Charles spokesman with reporters throwing horrible insinuation phrases / puns about possible orientation issues, and he keeps saying, "I'll allow it!"

Kevin Nealon is actually a decent dude. He lived/lives in Colorado and we'd see him often around town, a generally nice guy if approached respectfully or with a compliment ready, like all 'show biz' people.

Weeds was a Showtime series he did years after leaving SNL. Pretty good if you have never seen it. He also was amazingly in the cult classic All I Want For Christmas from about 1988 while he was on SNL. He was in a few films actually. He also was one of the attackers at the start of Roxanne attacking Steve Martin. He might have been in Coneheads the movie which came out in 93. He was also in Happy Gilmore.

As of around 2002, SNL took a flying leap into pure mindless crap, completely lacking any form of humor. When these guys left, they literally took the talent with them. Now, it is impossible to grab the remote fast enough to get away from what ever that formerly great show has become. That's the entire reason why they bring celebrities on as they do now. It's the only talent that exists.
