I hope this doesn’t sound condescending; but I’m so impressed with David’s ability to pull this off. In the early days I thought he was more of a sidekick kind of player. Now I see his strength as a comedic talent of unique style and presence. I love Fly On The Wall podcast. No one even mentioned how they joked Norm on not looking as good as what he used to "got a little paul newman going on there Norm, what the fuck happened?" all this while he was dying of FUCKING CANCER. But because Norm is completely confident and happy with himself, he's able to focus on immediately delivering a super witty response, instead of thinking about the fact that they insulted him for something that he was dying of that they didn't even know he had.

Norm was a brilliant guy, and I'm sure he realized people were going to crack on his appearence, so he probably braced himself for it. His smile never breaks during the joke. He loved every second because he got to laugh with his friends and not worry about them taking it easy on him due to a disease he couldn't control. Not trying to argue with you by the way, just wanted to express my opinion.

Well if you must do purity tests so much as a "fan" of Norm then I implore you to have a look at some other Norm clips and you might find the same comment made prior to his death. And the edits are whenever I add another date or maybe there was just a typo. I come back to Norm clips after I go through some tough times and decided since it does happen every few months I'd try record any time I do see a Norm clip. I don't necessarily binge all of them but just enough to raise my spirits. So yeah. You can fuck off with purity tests.

Damn I miss Norm. I for the past few years have watched him over and over on KZbin at night, in a way to just crack up over and over. Could have been the same clips I watched 4 nights in a row, and it never mattered. I usually don't pay much attention to when celebrities pass away but this was one of them that really hurt. I absolutely loved this guy and the thing that hurts the most is I don't think he knew how much he was respected and admired. I hate that we wait for people to die before telling them how great they are or how much they mean to us. I really wish Norm knew that and it breaks my heart to know he was battling that son of a bitch cancer for so long. Norm was one of a kind and there will never be someone like him. I wish he was still here selfishly, but damnit it's true. RIP Norm. You are the greatest of all time to me.

I'm 50 and have had a great life thus far and one of my top 10 favorite memories to look back on with a smile is seeing Norm perform live at Summerfest in Milwaukee in 1992. I was in the front row and it was surreal. RIP Norm.
