Ten years later, it's hard to admit how much this entire album had an effect on me. My family weren't going through an amazing time and I was struggling to understand who I was at school. This music connected with me in a way many have since, but this was the first. This was the gateway to who I was, and although I never reached where I thought I would, this this album was with me the whole way - in who I am. I can't thank you enough for that Dev. I'm proud of what you've achieved and everything you've done through Blood Orange, I've just never taken the time out to say thank you.

I can't believe its been 3 years...it's works like this that restore my hope in the connection music has to all of us. It's not just a business. It's a means to tell your story. This song on replay has helped me through many finals since my freshman year of high school and even now as I head in my junior year of college.
