Ten years later, it's hard to admit how much this entire album had an effect on me. My family weren't going through an amazing time and I was struggling to understand who I was at school. This music connected with me in a way many have since, but this was the first. This was the gateway to who I was, and although I never reached where I thought I would, this this album was with me the whole way - in who I am. I can't thank you enough for that Dev. I'm proud of what you've achieved and everything you've done through Blood Orange, I've just never taken the time out to say thank you.

I can't believe its been 3 years...it's works like this that restore my hope in the connection music has to all of us. It's not just a business. It's a means to tell your story. This song on replay has helped me through many finals since my freshman year of high school and even now as I head in my junior year of college. Haha Time flies and then you hear those notes at 7:50 and everything's alright again.

The man knows how to craft a song... Thankfully his creativity wasn't snubbed by the record label forcing him to only write two minute marketing gimmicks like 90% of the music we are spoon fed. At least that's what we get in the US. The UK seems to still have an appreciation for the artistry of music even in the pop realm. OK, I need to shut up and quit bitching now. :-D Truly great song Dev - keep being you.
