I always find winter hot tenting very relaxing. I first got interested in it about 5 years ago from a former KZbinr MegaWoodswalker (RIP) who passed away in early 2020. I used to fall asleep watching those with my cat curled up with me. Any time it would snow, I'd set up my silnylon hot tent and camp outside or at least enjoy a warm stove and tea on a work night. I find similar relaxation and tranquility watching your videos. I'm looking forward to receiving a custom made hammock hot tent shelter in about a week. It'll be a different experience than an Exped mat and a heated tipi. Keep up the good work. Stay safe and healthy out there. 🐈

I've been planning and preparing to do an Appalachian Trail thru hike within the next few years. As weird as it may sound, I'm planning to visit his graveside in Connecticut to pay my respects in person when I get up that way if it's logistically possible. It's wild how one person can make such an impact on many people's lives. (Sounds like a line out of Its a Wonderful Life) I finally decided to start filming a few hikes and gear reviews this summer after meeting another local KZbinr during a day hike. I'm waiting til the weather cools down a bit around here in Dec/Jan before I start filming any hot tenting. It's kinda nice to see now how much work goes into some of these videos between filming, camera angles, narration, and processing. It gives a greater appreciation for those who do it on a regular basis... Take care bud.

Superb content as always!! This is a great example of how a small heat source can warm a area if probably sealed off, this gave me an idea that you and pomoly should collaborate on, if you guys made a "pocket wood twig stove" like a t1 mini mini, it would be first of its kind, a twig stove with a stove pipe would be so friggin cool!! And I bet it would heat a tent up no problem! Anywho , just thought. Keep up the awesome work!!

Hey Jeremy, your first snow of the year! bummer it was gone the next morning. Still waiting for snow here. At least we're back to normal fall temperatures over here now. I like Photography a lot too. I was taking classes a few years back and wanted to make a career of it. I wanted to do Nature/Wildlife/Landscape Photography. I then realized how expensive the lenses I needed were. I have a decent camera: Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I was trying to figure out how I can get paid to go camping all the time! what I love the most, being in the woods and outdoors in nature. Very stiff competition out there and now especially with everyone having smartphones with cameras, seems like anyone can do it. I told one of my photography instructors that I would like to be like Ansel Adams, he said I wouldn't be famous until I was dead. Nice motivation! I was discouraged even more. Haven't been using my camera much the last couple of years and forgot what I learned (manual settings, which are supposed to be best).
