Lightyear ZERO! Launch Presentation Summary

Well presented, good looking video, as usual. One point is that the first production Lightyear One had supposedly pre-sold-out their total 150 vehicle planned production run, with a purchase price of 150,000 Euros each ($157K). With most of them being leased. And the second production run is planned to follow (likely in 2023) and those versions of the Lightyear One are supposed to be priced to break even on cost at 250,000 Euros each ($261K). There is also a planned second solar EV planned in 2024-2025 called the Lightyear Two to be priced at 33,000 Euros ($34.5K), but here with the Lightyear 0 we are seeing the real production intent prototype. Which shows great progress and success so far.

Hi Dean, yeah there seems to be some debate about if they filled all 150 slots, because even up until the day of the official launch you could reserve one at 150,000. Unless that was just for an additional run afterwards that was not communicated. Anyway, I saw the price change a few hours after I posted the vid, I'll see if I can edit some text in to make it more accurate. Thanks for the heads up.
