Ok we all know this is for recreation. Guys/gals that do group rides 20-30 riders know you do NOT stop at red lights PERIOD. I got mine took a little longer to install. But my guy here LIGHTZZ OUT is the real deal, exceptional customer service too. Needed this and not for my daily driver....just for the toy!

Auto version needs a analog switch option like the MC unit has. Screw a remote to deal with and battery to die. Sell the control unit for the MC with the auto plate.

Is there any positive feedback that it’s on and working? An LED in the cabin or whatever to let you know it’s actually on.

I imagine if you have the ribbon cable flipped on the bottom it will be cut by the plate eventually just from the constant vibration. Top flipped and a thin piece of foam and a rounded metal clip for longevity.

Honestly it's very durable.... Putting it at the bottom is better when you're using the silicone backing... And with the hardback, you can do either way. But if you're worried about extreme vibration, then you can do what best suits you for your peace of mind

To bad its tinted. If it was clear you'd have a better chance of having it for a while. Nobody has plate covers where I live cuz its illegal to even have a frame around your plate. Probly for this exact reason

You cooked my guy... don't matter if they can see your plates... they can also clearly see you have something covering your plate... instantly pulled over... if it were thinner and clearer and you couldn't tell it might be a feasible thing

So, just to understand: first you make a license plate with cool name, because you want others to see how cool you are (OUTATTIME) and then you want to obfuscate it ? Apart from that, technically and maybe for show-purposes, it is a cool gadget. But seriously, for anybody screwing this on and using it only for off-road, could very well just screw his license-plate off. Good work though.

100% illegal in the good ol' USA and likely the same in Canada. In my state, cops will pull you over even for clear license plate covers. Also if someone really wants privacy, they should stay home because once they step out any and everyone can watch them and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it.
