I regret that I didn't come across Sproul's teachings until after he passed on. I'd have loved to have met him in person. He's the only one who gets the rapture right. It's a gathering to Jesus in the air as he descends. I'd have loved to see him debate John McArthur on that issue.

@@babysosa4830 try John MacArthur? I've been listening to the Grace To You broadcast off and on since the mid 1980's. However, I've been a student of the Holy Spirit since 1976, when Jesus appeared to me two months after I gave my heart to him. What all of these Ligonier preachers have in common is they all deny the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit and therefore Ely on their vast theological education as their guide. Thus, they quench the very Holy Spirit they profess to follow and deny the words of Christ which says that they who follow him will cast out demons and Kay hands on the sick and they will recover. I've had the true baptism of the Holy Spirit. Not the imaginary one which these scholars believe is an automatic and secret event which happens upon your profession of faith, but the true baptism where the Holy Spirit comes down from heaven like a pillar of fire, flows through you from head to toe, fills you up like a glass being filled with water, and overflows out of your mouth, causing you to speak in angelic tongues. Not the fake, self induced gibberish babbled by Charismatics, but the real experience as described many times in the book of Acts. I listen to this scholars because they are very knowledgeable of Biblical scripture and this AIDS in my own Bible study. But they don't truly know God. A person who truly knows God has the same type of up close and personal relationship with him as did the prophets of old. I hope they all live about another 10 years so that they can realize the folly of their own Eschatological Doctrine as our country falls into chaos and Christians are gathered and taken to hayfields and burned alive in bonfires as the Holy Spirit has shown me in a vision from the beginning of my ministry when I was 8 years old. But none of these guys have any interest in talking to me because I'm just a truck driver without theological or seminary credentials.

Amen! John 14:6....... Also, Universalism is not Christianity so the world’s false religions are empty, without truth which is why they all try to earn what has already been paid for on the cross. The 5 Solas are the doctrinal truth of Christianity and what people believe about the doctrines of Christianity determines where they will spend eternity. Jesus Christ is God so He is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. It is a joy to listen to RC Sproul and to hear the gospel preached unadulterated. The Lord bless.

Haven't heard this Preached as it's being Preached and I am living in Texas one of the States surpose to be a Bible BELT STATE, not sure when the belt fell off and if people got tired of putting it on over and over again and again!! In the time I been a Believer and a FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST WHO STRENGTHS ME AND I AM a SINNER BECAUSE OF I am still in my FLESHLY BODY AND MY FRIEND I struggle with the MANY MANY CHURCHES in this tiny City and the criminals are receiving there kickback and there patty WACKED?? I've never seen this before and I am saying it because it goes on and on ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER,OVER AND OVER... I am the way, the truth and the life is one thing not three. It is a Greek Hendiatris. Thus Christ said "I am the true, living way," where truth and and life become adjectives modifying the first noun "way." The adjectives are in the superlative. The Greeks used Hendiadys and Hendiatris regularly.

Ambiguous verses (Claiming Divinity): - I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one sees The Father except through me (John 14:6) - Before Abraham, I am (John 8:58) - I and The Father are one (John 10:30) - I am the alpha and omega (Revelation 22:13) and no holy spirit there. Clear verses (Denying Divinity): - my Father is greater than I (John 14:28) - my Father is greater than all (John 10:29) - my Father is the only true God ( John 17:3) - I am ascending to my God and your God (John 20:17) - I by myself can do nothing (John 5:30) - only The Father knows the hour (Matthew 24:36 ) - Jesus didn't know fig season (Mark 11:12 -14) - my God, my God, why You forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46) Let's say all of the above are not ambiguous then It means that there are many contradictions.

When Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life; Jesus was stating the truth. God, or the force of Love that animates all life; is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus was not speaking personally about himself. What Jesus meant is that Love is the way to live, Love is the truth, and Love is the way to eternal life; not in the sense of heaven, but as a way to know yourself as the eternal being that you are. When you know yourself as Love, you know yourself as God. This God force, the I am that is within Jesus, is the same God force that is within everyone. The spirit that is within Jesus is also within everyone. God is the same in everyone, and God's name is Love.

Wisdom is the way truth and life. The firstborn of all creation. The light of the world. Gen. 1:3, Proverbs 8,9. No one gets to the Father except by wisdom. The city on a hill. The mother of all the firstborn of the spirit. The gospels are spiritual allegory. Wisdom was personified in the gospels as a man named Yeshua (salvation). It was not a literal man nor was the virgin daughter of Zion a woman named Mary. Wisdom knowledge and understanding left this earth after 70 ad and the beast stamped out all truth for the last 2k years. The beast got victory over the saints until the very end. Thats when wisdom (spirit of truth) returns to open our blinded in part eyes. Worshipping a man as God is an abomination and a strong delusion. I even i am YHWH besides ME there is NO SAVIOR Isaiah 43:11.

Jesus is God, and all aspects of God reside in and through Jesus, and He can speak from any of His aspects at anytime, and its never to have a conversation with Himself so much as for our understanding. Jesus reveals Himself as the only God by revealing all His aspects and putting them on display so that we can know that He is the one and only God. However, as is human nature it seems, He is misunderstood and twisted to our own destruction. So if you really and truly worship God, then know that Jesus is Him.

The meaning of the WTL is the "Way" you get there to The Almighty's Presence. So here it is in a nutshell; the Way (leads to the Father's Ways) by the Truth and Life. Each one stands for the outer court (Way) and Holy Place (Truth) an The Holy of Holies (Life). The latter is the illumination.(II Cor.4:6.). This is the Way, the gate is called the Way. Mashiah said, enter the strait gate. This is where you "seek" the kingdom of Theo and His righteousness in Christ. This means you must walk with Messiah on your streets first. If you seek you will find Mashiah said. The Truth (Tav) is the Holy Place and "The door" called Truth. This is where you knock on the door of Wisdom to justify you as a son of Elohim. (Matt.11:18,27.Prov.9:1.) The door opens to all those who have knocked and sought and found. No one can reach here unless they are justified. Your justification allows you to add virtue to your faith. (IIPet.1:3,5,10.) The "vail/veil" is called Life. This is where you ask in His Presence without speaking it. Why? BC He lets you know while communing with you in your silence He has knowledge of your needs, wants and desires. This is studying to be silent. This is in the Most Holy Place when He is there. Then it is the secret place. But these guys on her have no clue!

With the mind you believe (hope) and with the heart you live by faith.(love of The Lord) As far as man is concerned, many are called but few are chosen. The Lord chooses amongst the many who will be Ministry Gift calling. But Abba Patyr' also Chooses whom the Lord reveals to Him (Matt.11:27-30.) whom He takes you to the Secret Place. (Ps.91:1,15.) where you live by faith. So to trust man is a curse unless he can prove he knows the Heavenly Father that God has TO confirms Himself. (Jerm.17:5. 9:23,24.33:3.) Who do you believe? Normally the things anyone brings up in their speech are things aimed at them in the spirit. Since you did bring it up. Who do you really serve? (Mal.3:P16-18.) How do you read these?
