Congratulations finding a new home. We just lived through Hurricane Ian here in Florida. No phone, no power for 2 days, just the howling of the strong winds. But we are safe and sound, and life goes on. Hope your family is safe and can't wait to see your new place.

@rito8534
@rito8534 Жыл бұрын
@TheGospellers

I understand 230k yen a month is a lot, but for 2 working adults for a house that fits 6 it's very reasonable. I'm on my own and pay converted 280k yen a month for a one bedroom apartment in my city. I barely scrape by working extremely hard. It's the only apartment that had a place for me to move in to when I was in a similar situation as you were here!

Don't know where to ask this on your channel. What do you know about the housing for homeless in Japan? Watched a short video of a elderly Japanese couple who have been living in a floodplain for 20 years. Does Habitat for Humanity or a similar organization exist to help others with low income housing and restoration of homes?

Not sure I can answer that - do you have a link to that video? Technically we (all the entire neighborhood) lives in a floodplain! They let you know when you go to buy/rent in our area.

There wouldn't be so many houses which can contain 6 member family in Japan. What type of house did you find? Cheap one is made of wood and a little noisy by neighbors. Plural storeys condominium is a little expensive. Do you think you keep living in Japan till Sara grows to want own room separate from Joshua?
