The mod has been updated few times already, the first available version didn't work because of an missing file so if you have the version Beta 1.0b or other version than Beta 1.03b (the newest) please download Beta 1.03b. All or most characters are all programmed to react vocally if their attack got evaded or just didn't connect at all resulting in a "Miss". This effect didn't get disabled but it may get disabled in the future in an update to the mod.

This is really impressive, but I definitely wouldn't want to play the whole game like this. If I wanted to play a janky brawler where you just effortlessly stunlock enemies and look at the same animations for forty hours, I'd play one of the older games. A lot of this game's charm goes out the window if Ichiban is just fighting normally. The fact that your other party members presumably just sit there and let Ichiban do everything is also kind of unfortunate. Still, it's really cool that the mod creator figured out how to do this in the first place, and I'm sure some people will play this and have a great time.

It's not recommended to have this as your first experience. The story is built as a turn based game, and you lose some of that when doing this.
