Not only was it distasteful for Loni to ask that question to Mama Mai, but it was also distasteful to ask Jeannie's mom if Jeannie had yelled at her this morning. It was also distasteful for them to ask why Jeannie talked to her mom like she doesn't know English. Why in the world do they think they need to butt into this mother and daughter relationship like that. If Jeannie's mom has a problem with how her daughter treats her, I'm sure she is strong enough to tell Jeannie. Yeah but kids is a soft spot for Jeannie and Loni knew that, i'm not getting on Loni for asking that because she is that person that just wants to know and isn't afraid to ask, but Jeannie doesn't really like to talk about her not wanting to have kids because she knows that Fred and her family wants her to and she probably feels like a horrible person for not wanting that life. I love this show, but the thing about all of the host is they push too much. I get that it's the real but they always push each other if they don't agree with thier lifestyle or understand it. Like with Tamar she was a little shy talking about her sex life with her husband, but now she says stuff so she isn't put in a Christian box and how they keep trying to pressure Adrienne and Lenny to get married and now on Tamar and Jeannine about having kids. I'm sure they get on Loni about something too and i'm sure it's not meant to come off pushy but it is. They brought the situations to the table and said what they needed to say and the the person it was about, listen and replyed to thier comments so they all should listen to how they feel and let it go and not bring it up unless the person it's about opens the door about that conversation.

It's an inconsiderate question because they already know Jeannie's feelings about the situation. If someone doesn't want kids, then no one else's thought or opinion (besides her husband's) matters on that subject. If anything, that's Jeannie's question to ask because that's Jeannie's situation. It could have possibly lead to added tension or pressure that's completely unnecessary. I know the show is called "The Real" but they are in no way obligated to display each and every detail.

I have so much respect for people who say they don't want kids. Lots of people who have them treat them like toys or pet animals. Taking care of another human being is no joke! ITS THE REAL THING NOT A PET! If you really want children then you will work hard for it. Some people don't want to work so hard so they are childless and that's great! Children don't ask to be born so please make sure you want them before you have them, not because society says its the right thing to do!

jazade alize Honey Pets are real things too and are very difficult to take care of especially by yourself. Also every pet is different some might need special assistance because of health problems or anything. So if you take care of a pet right you will treat a child right.

It's not Loni's question that was out of line, it's the insensitivity she showed in not caring about the potential fallout from the question. Not having children is not a decision taken lightly, and the topic has been discussed to death already. She only raised it again, hoping to get a cheap rise out of Jeannie's mum, thereby making Jeannie feel bad. Those are not the actions of a nice person IMO. Big up Jeannie's mum for not playing along with that foolishness.

Honestly, as a woman Loni should know not to ask another woman about having babies. If Jeannie wants to take her time, the she should. Who knows what Jeannie and Freddie go through. Maybe, they are trying to have children already, but is having a hard time. Maybe Jeannie can't have babies, vice versa with Freddie. I never ask people when they'll have babies only for the fact that it's a personal topic, and also you never know if they can or cannot have any. I find it rude and distasteful to pressure, and constantly ask when someone will have a baby. We've seen many celebrities share their stories about the difficulty of having babies, and how some really struggle for it because they simply just can't have any. For Loni to call her out like that on television must have been humiliating.

I personally would not change any of the hosts, they are all unique and amazing which is what makes the show great. However, I do completely see what everyone was saying. They are supposed to be friends and the REAL is that friends know when not to say something and Loni crossed the line here. Jeannie is really sensitive on the issue and bringing it up in front of her mother was wrong, I am just glad Jeannies mom is so amazing!

The reason why it was such a hard question for Loni to ask was because Jeanie shared a few episodes back that it was a sore point between her and her husband, having known that, i'm not sure why she would have asked that question when she already knew how upset the issue has made jeanie in past episodes.
